I don't normally leave reviews, but this stuff is awesome so I had to write one. My hair type is thin/straight, that gets oily very fast, and I shed a lot. This shampoo, though designed for curly hair types, has been perfect for my hair. It leaves the perfect amount of moisture to where I don't need to use a conditioner at all. My hair does produce the same amount of oil, but it's a different kind of oily feel. It's hard to describe, but with this shampoo when I go a couple days between washes, it doesn't look or feel as nasty as it used to when I would use standard shampoo. Maybe sulfates affect my hair/oil production adversely. This shampoo does not lather well, so you have to use quite a bit, but one bottle has still lasted me for about two months. It also does not have a strong scent, so it doesn't leave a scent in your hair after it dries, which is a little disappointing to me. Still an awesome product, definitely recommend!

I am a redhead with fine curly hair and have been told by beautician a lot of hair for being fine. I have sensitive issues and lots of stuff dries my hair and makes it unmanageable I have tried lots of brands from John freida, reddkin, Paul Mitchell, Aussie, cheep brands and so on. So far for me this leaves my hair soft and less dry smells nice and cleans well. I use the conditioner and shampoo

This is a start to curly heads products. It will not knot your curls when you wash them. Every curly head should have this in their program. Is there better sure but, is a full backup to go to , or like me build on. I use this then add conditioner and detangle over it. When you have curls it can cost you to go natural. This will not hurt the piggy bank and works. Thats all we need really .

I've actually been dealing with a bit of an itchy scalp this winter and I'm not sure if it will go away after the season is over or if it's this shampoo. Don't use this product with silicones because your scalp WILL be oily, irritated and itchy. When I cut out silicones, my hair did better with this shampoo. I do hot oil treatments before shampooing weekly but because suave isn't cruelty free, I probably won't be buying again for my 3c/3b curls. I don't have an issue with using a few pumps of shampoo, but I don't know if I can say I'm a fan of this one. I have nothing to compare it to yet, as this is my first sulfate free shampoo. Thinkdirty also stated this has petroleum in it?? I don't think so, but hey maybe.... I wouldn't say I'm a fan but it got the job done when I just wanted to try a sulfate free shampoo but I actually advise you to find a cruelty free one instead. Which is what I should have done. But before switching, remember to reset your hair with an sls shampoo to rinse all those silicones out.

I like and use many Suave products but this shampoo is awful! It takes a palmful just to get started. After shampooing my hair was stiff and tangled. And I bought two bottles.

This product doesn't work for Afro-Americans.It dried my hair out like a brillo pad. Disappointed.

The bottle came with a screw top, not a pump. The top was broken in shipping and the shampoo spilled onto the other contents of the box. This shampoo smells so bad of fake cheap perfume, it took me a long time to rinse off the other items. I ended up returning them because it is impossible to wash the stink off of them. Fake cheap perfume is one of the worst smells in the cosmetic industry. I would not recommend this shampoo to anyone,
