I don't normally leave reviews, but this stuff is awesome so I had to write one. My hair type is thin/straight, that gets oily very fast, and I shed a lot. This shampoo, though designed for curly hair types, has been perfect for my hair. It leaves the perfect amount of moisture to where I don't need to use a conditioner at all. My hair does produce the same amount of oil, but it's a different kind of oily feel. It's hard to describe, but with this shampoo when I go a couple days between washes, it doesn't look or feel as nasty as it used to when I would use standard shampoo. Maybe sulfates affect my hair/oil production adversely. This shampoo does not lather well, so you have to use quite a bit, but one bottle has still lasted me for about two months. It also does not have a strong scent, so it doesn't leave a scent in your hair after it dries, which is a little disappointing to me. Still an awesome product, definitely recommend!

Great lather and cleanse for my natural wavy hair.

I like the shampoo but I have noticed a few things. 1. After using it for a while my hair is again getting frizzy. 2. The shampoo seems to take more to wash my hair than I need conditioner as it does not seem to lather well on thick hair. 3. While after washing my hair feels dry, after 24hrs my hair feels greasy more than before.

I've actually been dealing with a bit of an itchy scalp this winter and I'm not sure if it will go away after the season is over or if it's this shampoo. Don't use this product with silicones because your scalp WILL be oily, irritated and itchy. When I cut out silicones, my hair did better with this shampoo. I do hot oil treatments before shampooing weekly but because suave isn't cruelty free, I probably won't be buying again for my 3c/3b curls. I don't have an issue with using a few pumps of shampoo, but I don't know if I can say I'm a fan of this one. I have nothing to compare it to yet, as this is my first sulfate free shampoo. Thinkdirty also stated this has petroleum in it?? I don't think so, but hey maybe.... I wouldn't say I'm a fan but it got the job done when I just wanted to try a sulfate free shampoo but I actually advise you to find a cruelty free one instead. Which is what I should have done. But before switching, remember to reset your hair with an sls shampoo to rinse all those silicones out.

I like and use many Suave products but this shampoo is awful! It takes a palmful just to get started. After shampooing my hair was stiff and tangled. And I bought two bottles.

This product doesn't work for Afro-Americans.It dried my hair out like a brillo pad. Disappointed.

If u r a read reviews before u buy kinda person please take everything i say into consideration. This shampoo and the conditioner did make my hair very soft and felt well conditioned. But as soon as i started using it my hair was falling out in tremendous amounts every time i washed it. Another thing was how it made my scalp so dry that i got dandruff, when dandruff was never a problem for me. Even though this shampoo did very little good things to my hair, the bad outweighed the good big time.

The bottle came with a screw top, not a pump. The top was broken in shipping and the shampoo spilled onto the other contents of the box. This shampoo smells so bad of fake cheap perfume, it took me a long time to rinse off the other items. I ended up returning them because it is impossible to wash the stink off of them. Fake cheap perfume is one of the worst smells in the cosmetic industry. I would not recommend this shampoo to anyone,
