Subnautica: Below Zero for PlayStation 5

I have thalassophobia so I hate it but otherwise good game

Solid spin off to the original Subnautica, one of the most genuine unique games out there. (Subnautica series)

For my 9 year old and he absolutely loves it.

At the time the first Subnautica was released I enjoyed the gameplay of that one and was very impressed by the graphics and quality. When I heard a sequel was being released I was very excited. It looked better than the first and I was right it was. There are more sea creatures to fight, unique species of animals, and even Penguins in the called Pengwing. Since this game takes place in the Arctic region, you can except much better scenery than the first Subnautica. I played this game on the Nintendo Switch. But after getting a PS5, I wanted to upgrade the game to that format. Plus the graphics are better. If you're playing this game on a PS4, I'm sorry to say that you are not going to experience amazing graphics like you will on the PS5. I feel sorry for anyone who still has a PS4 😂. I wish the first Subnautica game would get a PS5 rerelease like SpongeBob the Cosmic Shake did recently. This game is totally worth the $30 I would say even worth to pay more for it then that. Also the game is cheaper to buy the physical disc format. If you buy the digital format on your PS5, you will pay double the price of this. So might as well buy the game on the disc. Plus it's 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc and the PS4 only has the standard Blu-ray Disc. So I highly encourage everyone to buy this game and also upgrade to a PS5 and sell your PS4 for better performance and graphics.

Make sure to check what system it's for lol. I did a very newb like thing as a parent lol. My son said he wanted this game however I got it for the PlayStation 5 not for the 4. Looks like we're upgrading

Cheaper than other stores for the ps5 version

Game is a extended narrative or continuation of Subnautica. A must play 1st one to fully understand the story. Easier than the first one. It is fun. It is beautiful flora and fauna.

I bought Subnautica: Below Zero on the PS5 store when it launched in May. I was enjoying it greatly with the new story line and new vehicles and then 32 hours in the save game functionality stopped working. Upon restarting the game, the whole save file was gone. If you go to the Unknown Worlds website/forum, youll see that the game suffers from these game breaking save game errors on more consoles than just the PS5. They recently released a patch that focused on fixing graphics bugs and lagging, but didnt fix the save game error. What good are fantastic graphics if you periodically lose all of your saved progress!? The game might be good someday, but right now its just disappointing.
