Sugardale Prestige Hickory Smoked Half Ham, Fully Cooked, Bone-In, 7- 15 lb

We purchased a smaller gourmet ham from the internet for Christmas that cost $75. It went into the garbage as it was inedible. So I purchased your Sugardale ham with some trepidation. However it was the most flavorful and delicious ham my family has enjoyed for some time. Loved it...just had ham and bean soup last night with some leftovers and it too was a big hit with family. I won't hesitate to purchase another one in the near future. Thanks so much

Very good ham. Balanced seasoning, not overly salty. The meat itself has excellent texture. Not a lot of overly fatty pieces in the ham we purchased either. Unlike many hams, there wasn't a watered down mealy texture. Probably one of the best supermarket hams I've had. Definitely will repurchase. (This ham doesn't have a "smoked" flavor -- it's more subtle -- which I prefer.)

My mother already used Sugardale hams. I have to agree with her choice. I now keep up three tradition of using this brand for my holiday dinners. They always have a good flavor. The only thing I don't care for are spiral cut hams. I understand many people do enjoy having it precut. I rather have the control of my thickness. Especially for my left overs after the holiday is over. I forgot to mention this to my personal shopper. My fault. I've never been disappointed with Sugardale products.

This ham was amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect but we are so happy with it. Salted perfectly, not too much just enough. Great taste. The price for the amount was on point. Just overall happy with it!! We don't eat ham for the most part outside of holidays but I would absolutely make this again throughout the year.

This ham was so tender and flavorful. I've been trying to order a bone in half ham, but they are always out of them. I tried to get the Smithfield ham but this one was substituted after my shopper had to ask for them to get one from the back of the store.

Solid, easy ham option. Good smoky flavor without being overpowering, and it's nice that it's fully cooked—just heat and serve. Stays pretty juicy if you don't overdo it, and slices well for leftovers. Not quite “holiday centerpiece amazing,” but definitely reliable for everyday meals or a simple dinner. Convenient, tasty, and gets the job done.

This is not my usual brand choice but it was available, and we needed it for the next day. I slice ham and heat as needed, as I did this time. I trimmed a great deal of fat off and the meat at the bone was too red to be used the way we normally would. In the end we had enough to serve at Easter. We cooked the too-red meat to use in other ways and rendered down the fat so nothing went to waste. The flavor and texture were good and I wouldn't stop anyone from buying Sugardale ham but I will likely think twice before buying again, personally.

These hams are gross. I won't get delivery anymore either because the "personal shoppers" don't pay attention to the packaging of the meat. The hot dogs must have had pinholes in the packaging too. Or the meat had been left out to the point of spoiling. The vacuum sealing was lose.

this was the worse sugardale ham I've ever had. it didn't have any taste to it and there was so much fat on it, in fact, there was more fat than ham. I've been cooking sugardale hams since 1983 when my husband and I got married, I'm taken back on how awful it was, almost ruined our easter dinner.

the ham was all fat and one extra large bone my Thanksgiving dinner was ruined the ones that didnt like turkey didnt get to eat i threw the ham away that very evening called walmart next day spoke with a manager or they call them supervisers he told me i will get a full refund for ham well called sunday because i didnt receive the emsil that ge sent me spoke with a new supperviser and he told me i had to return it to the store for refund i ssid it in th %23%^^ garbage to go to thr phone call i spoke on friday after having to repete myself sevel timrs i finly got him to go to phone call now weather he did or not have no clue but he got back on the phone and saposaly give me full rfund wiil see let you know at a later time to be continued
