THIS PRODUCT IS A SHAM
I used for my bedroom and only once it lowered the room temperature from 76F to 75F while increased the the humidity from 64% to 69% in spite of using continuously for 8hrs using ice mixed with cold. The other times my room temperature remained 76F constant while humidity peaked to 69% no matter how long I operated. Therefore, it has been a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT and I returned it for refund. In addition, this product is very loud even though it claims quiet. It is also very inconvenient because of the fact that you will end up using all the ice from your ice maker in the refrigerator or else you need to buy ice all the time. Cold water alone does not work but adding ice and frozen bags in the cold water do not change anything either. Finally, I used my fan and compared to this product side-by-side and the I found out that the comfort not cooling effect is better for the fan.
