SUGIFT 54in Portable Basketball Hoop with Polycarbonate Backboard

The badketball goal is big, it looks greatit is very very nice! The only problem is, it will fall over during a slight windstorm! It fell on our 1 yr old grandson but ONLY by the grace of God, he was ok! It was horrifying but God is so GOOD! We have it down until we can fill it with cement and put tie downs into the ground!

Wow, I’ve seen poor instructions, but this one took the cake. Pictures that don’t even closely resemble the task and fasteners labeled on their bags but not in the instructions. Hot garbage to assemble. Two thumbs way down for the lack of effort there.

I have mixed reviews on this hoop. Once fully assembled,, it seems good - we got it for our young son who loves to play. However, assembling it took 2-3 hours because the instructions were confusing and very unclear. Pictures were blurry and one step was actually written wrong. This resulted in taking it apart and trouble shooting multiple times. If you are handy and good at assembling on your own without the manua (like my husband)l, then go for it!

The directions were black and white, and very hard to follow and not very descriptive when putting it together so it took about five hours to put the whole basketball hoop together. If it was colored and better quality, it would’ve been a lot easier.

Do not waste your money. The bottom support poles behind the triangle rebounder broke within 4 months of purchase, it also easily tips over in light wind even with a full and heavy base. Walmart was useless in connecting me to the company to ask for replacement parts (that I'm willing to pay for). You are better off buying a brand name goal, and probably from Amazon who has better customer service when it comes to returns and direct seller/vendor communication.

We got the goal put together and got out the backboard out to install and realized it has a crack. We are requesting a new backboard be sent to us immediately.

What a disappointment. The instructions are missing crucial images and details about how to install this product correctly. I’ve removed and reinstalled it multiple times and still can’t get it to sit properly. After installing countless items over the past 25 years, I’ve never come across something so poorly designed. To make matters worse, the reviews don’t even match the product—most of the pictures show a completely different item. It’s obvious these reviews were influenced by agents trying to boost ratings. I’m done with these cheap companies getting away with subpar products. I want my money back.

Not a good experience putting it together. Quality of the parts looks good but they are not made to fit perfectly with each other. Instructions are worst. It’s very hard to figure out what goes where unless you see pictures online and find out yourself. The main part Z, that connects pole with board is not shaped right and I can put screw B through it. After spending two hours, i’m not successful finishing it and may end up returning. Trying to reach customer care to get that one part. Hopefully they will send.

This item says sold by Walmart but they can even provide the manufacturer contact when there is defect on the parts. Call and tried to get replacement parts or returned and Walmart associates dragged on for 4 months. Now, they said they cannot process refund over the return window when I called 3 weeks after purchase. They said I need to call my bank to dispute the charges
