I cannot sleep with total quiet or outside noise. I bought this to take less space in the room and hopefully keep me in a nice restful sleep without a lot of loud whirring. When I first turned it on, I was skeptical. It sounded too quiet but one night and I was sold! Somehow, the sound is just perfect. It blocks outside noise but doesn't make me feel like I'm stuck in a wind tunnel.  I wasn't that interested in the remote have found it to be very useful.

This definitely is not a whole room fan. That being said, I think the use of "whole room" is meant to differentiate the full-size nature of this fan from the desk-size variant. I use the fan in my bedroom and it does a decent job of cooling me and my wife. Granted, we haven't had a very hot night since I got it; I'll see how it does during the coming summer.

If you do not have a lot of floor space, but need a fan for summer, then this is the perfect fan to get! The footprint is so tiny, you can just shove it in a corner somewhere and forget about it. If you need to move it around, it is light and easy to maneuver because you don't have to lean down to pick it up.

My office is about 200 square feet and I needed something to help cool the place down and this works perfectly. It works so well that I ended up turning the AC up since the fan was working better than the AC in my office. Who needs a freezing waiting room anyways?The fan sound is so low, I forgot it was even there.

As far as noise level is concerned, it is not without noise, but compared to my other floor fan it is practically silent; to the point where if the day or night is not absolutely still and I am just passing or approaching the fan from behind I usually have to put my hand in front of it to make sure it is off. All in all I am happy with the fan. I have not used sleep mode or the remote control so I cannot comment on those features.

I keep it on the 2nd and 3rd setting, and it's quiet enough to never bother us while watching movies even it's it is just 3-4 feet away. At that distance, it creates sufficient air flow to allow evaporation, but not crazy enough to blow your hair and paper away. The remote control is also handy! It will never be enough for tropical-level heat, but for around 26C, it provides enough cooling. And coupled with an AC, it allows for better cooled-air distribution in a larger room.

Overall the fans are good. They are quiet. I like the remote function, but wish the timer could be controlled by the remote. You can turn it on/off or turn up the intensity with the remote.

This fan has been amazing. I dong have it oscillate since the room isn't that big but even when I did try the option it was amazing. The thermostat actually has the room at an lower temp then it did before. I'm hoping this will help save on the bill

This fan is slim enough for a crowded apartment, and enough variable speeds to satisfy. The sound is unobtrusive
