Suikoden I II Remaster, PlayStation 5

This game was in short supply, and although it was showing delays, it showed up only a few days after the release date. I appreciate the delivery and being able to add this to my collection.

i have some complaints over the game, but they're not bad enough to give less than 5 stars. first, the autosave feature is almost useless. it only saves at save point. why? mind as well just save manually. how lazy you have to be to skip saving manually? game did crush a few times, and this "autosave" did not help me one bit. second, you can speed up the battle. great feature, but there's one problem (for me, at least), it also speeds up the bgm! is it a problem? maybe not, but it was so disorienting for me. again, do these problems spoiled my joy? no, absolutely not. it's still a great series, and i had so much fun playing. hopefully, they'll fix this, so in future if i want to revisit the game, i can have absolutr flawless experience.

It's a faithful remastering of the classic Playstation RPG's, with all the core elements intact, including Futch's flying elephant, I mean Dragon that sounds like an elephant in the opening chapters. Infamous translation errors have been fixed, such as "Oh, my. All of this killing in front of a children" . Widescreen, HD, and and battle speed modifiers are all part and parcel of this release, making one hope that Konami decides to remaster the other 4 games in the series.

Loved these games on the original PlayStation, so it's great to finally replay these games after so many years.

Loved this game on the original playstation, and this remaster brings it back to modern consoles with a host of quality of life improvements.

The gane is an excellent example of how a remaster of two classic PS1 era JRPGs should be done.
