On-line description is very vague regarding this item. Does not specify zipper size (#5), or tape material contents. This is important when working with other fabrics that may / may not be compatible. Had I not used this product before, I would not know these things. It is a great product, especially when you have projects requiring a longer zipper than retail suppliers stock. I frequently purchase longer zippers and cut them to desired lengths. The 'Make-A-Zipper', saves waste.

Cut to size zipper
This is exactly what I was expecting and very easy for someone who sews to use. A very good buy.

I purchased this for use in sewing a tote bag and it worked out perfectly. The zipper is nice and sturdy (as labeled "heavy duty"). I had never used the product before and the instructions seemed a little vague but I soon figured it out. It does have a rather strong "chemical" odor but otherwise nice product.
