Summer Breeze Full Mates Bed (54'') with 3 Drawers, Blueberry

Love this bed !! I am 66yrs. old and live alone, it took me 4 hrs. to put together, have a sore back, but love it ;) The only thing I would change would be the shipping. Everything is in one long box and very heavy. I picked up from store, know offered to help me. Good think I had someone with me. We barely got it on the truck. Then got a cart from apt. complex to take in elevater to my apt. Also packaging of the hardware could be packaged seperately and numbered, would make easier to identify.

This is largely particle board, so be gentle or it won't last. But it is a great value for what it is. I have paid a lot more at IKEA for a lot less. The assembly only took a few hours. The directions state not to use a drill, but you could safely use a drill with a light hand. It will save a lot of time and wrist pain. The drawers are not terribly sturdy, but okay for light items. The drawers do not run the full width of the bed, only about 1/3 of the width.

Had it about 3 weeks we all are amazed how nice it is.Very easy to put together.Paint finish we all like.

Took about 2 hours to put it together, and is built much better than what you might expect. The box was damaged, but the bed was perfect. You will enjoy this bed if you buy it!

OMG this thing is HEAVY! My husband and I had to carry this upstairs and inside my home and I almost didn't make it! It was fairly easy to put together but time consuming. About an hour and a half to two hours with both of us working on it. It is very pretty and seems sturdy. I think my 5 year old daughter will get to use this bed for a long time to come.

I think for the price of the bed the quality could be a little higher. The finish looks very nice and assembly was average. It seems nice and sturdy so far. Within the first week in my daughter's room on of the drawer knobs had been knocked off the front. Also the drawers are very cheaply made. If you're just using it for extra storage that is opened occasionally I'm sure they're fine, but I don't think they would withstand daily wear.

The finish on the wood actually has some nice detail which I could not see in the pictures online, so that was a nice surprise. I also did not find the assembly instructions hard to follow. It did take me several hours to put together though, so this product is not for people who don't have the patience or time for something like that:) While the drawers are functional, the construction is not the most sturdy, and they don't sit completely flush to the bed frame itself. I have doubts that they will withstand the test of time. My biggest problem, however, was the way it was shipped to me! It was just a big hassle, and in the end, I opened the really tattered box to discover that two of the drawers had been dinged. Overall, I am okay with the product, but the experience was a bit unpleasant and has given me hesitations about ordering from Walmart in the future.

We like the look and price of the unit. Extremely heavy...couldn't even carry the box in the house...had to unpack it and then bring it in. This is all partical board and press board, there is no real wood anywhere in the product, not even the drawer fronts. Drawer glides are plastic without any wheels, so I don't expect the drawers to open/close very easily for long, especially in a kids room. White wash finish is nice. Assembly was reasonable for one person. Only need a hammer and screw driver, but a drill and screw gun makes a few tasks a little easier. Overall, we like it...just hope it holds up to our 4.5 year old!

I bought this bed for my daughter. It seems study enough when we got it together however I was disappointed in the quality of wood that was provided. The product is thinner than I would have liked and the drawers do not seem like they will hold up to a lot of weight. Only time will tell.

This item came in with broken pieces and then we are required to send back. The items is extremely heavy to move into a vehicle and take to our local Walmart for refund. They are sending a replacement but it is taking very long to process our request. I just don't know how I am going to return this item. :/ Don't recommend this bed. Appears to be very cheap and now concerned it will hold a mattress and body weight.
