Teacher-recommended summer study
We use these workbooks to avoid the summer academic slide. They reinforce what my kids are learning during the school year, but they're not too easy either. Sometimes the information is presented in a new and different way from what they've previously learned, so it's a good challenge. Doing one or two pages a day when we're home on summer mornings - has worked well for us. These workbooks are tried-and-true classics. These were recommended for summer study by teachers at our private school.
