Summer Sanders: Prenatal Workout [DVD]

I live a very active lifestyle, primarily mountain biking, watersports and yoga (many of which are out for 9 months). I have only done the first trimester work out for this video. It was a good work out for both cardio and strength. The exercises use a resistance band so you can adjust to your own needs which is nice. Summer and Keri are pleasant to listen to you and frequently remind you to drink lots of water through out the video. I look forward to continuing this workout a couple of times a week throughout my pregnancy.

My muscles were a little sore after doing this video once, which is great, but the workout was an HOUR long and it was very slow so I didn't get much cardio at all. Also I didn't realize I needed to make an additional purchase - exercise bands - to be able to do this workout. Based on the ratings I just expected to get a better workout. There are express workouts too but I wasn't going for "express," I just wanted a basic 30-minute workout that would make my heart beat enough to get a light sweat and make me use my muscles too, within the safety requirements for pregnancy. This video was only strength training, in my opinion.

This video is not very good, its kind of boring and annoying. Summer talks a lot a comments on every move and its dumb stuff that she says. The video has really no good cardio in it and it just did not do it for me. I have done this workout only twice and I had to put it away.I rather do my treadmill or take a walk.
