i bought this pool for our grandchildren. I am giving it 5 stars! it shipped fast all parts with it. I have been buying pools every 2 years. For the price this one can not be beat. It went up pretty easy and the pump works great for a cheaper pool. you have to do more then run a pump for a clean pool. This pool is fantastic for the price!
Purchased the 18x48 to replace a 14x42. Very nice pool compared to my last years smaller model. Not using the pump and filter cartridges because our pool has been converted to an Intex sand pump. Assembled on a flat, hard surface, covered by a large tarp. The liner is incredibly strong, I'd say user error if you end up with holes. I paid the freight shipping and was worried it would arrive damaged, but it was in great condition. Very happy with this purchase, I would say don't pass on it.
Super easy to put up, great quality. The only dislike I have is the pump parts - when you need to thoroughly clean the pump and disassemble it after the pool is up and going, the seal in the bottom compartment is difficult at best to get to seal correctly when your reassemble which will cause leaking. The motor in the bottom is also very heavy. I love this style of pump though in comparison to the Coleman pumps - much better job of filtering the pool. It's seals could just use some improvement.
We've loved our pool, we've had it for four years now but the brown version. I will say that the cover is JUNK, I'm on my second one. We live in FL so you get crazy weather however the liner became a magnet for mosquito larvae and tree frogs! Then we started noticing pieces of plastic in the pool. The UV rays were eating the liner to the cover away little by little. Eventually I threw it out and I stopped having nesting/mating grounds in my back yard for all. So if you live in FL or other southern states be very cautious using this cover. Northern states be careful of the cover for small mammals like squirrels or chipmunks, they tend to eat the drain holes and fall in. You'll find one floating if you're not careful. Also to note, my pool was NOT dirty and had the right amount of chemicals. We just had the best pool for critters 😂.
Pump / filer leaks . Pool arrived early shipping was good. Pool is nice. Definitely needs at least 3 people to assemble. The pump / filer is absolutely awful. Ours has a terrible Leak ,it's under warranty but another 7-10 for parts that might fix it. If these parts don't fix the leak problem with the pump/filter have to call back again …so who know when the kids will be able to use the pool but no time soon. ☹️
The box to our pool was broke somewhere in the process of shipping or delivery. All the other boxes inside were all over our driveway when we got home! We're not even sure if all the pieces are there because we cannot set the pool up till this weekend.
The pool was easy set up and good quality so far. However, the pump broke after 3 days of being plugged in and running. The company didn't rush a new pump and I had to wait 7-10days before new pump was received. Wasn't happy with that process or the fact that my pump broke after 3days of being plugged in.
I want to rate this a 5 star, but I can't. It came in later than I was told. Once we started the set up process, everything was going great. The liner is wrinkled don't know why? Then we filled the pool up… once we turned the filter on there was a hole in the connecting hose (or plastic tube for the filter). It's leaking everywhere. Tried to use flex seal and it's still leaking. Very frustrated. Don't know how to fix it. And there's no number you can call to have the seller contact you back.
Pool showed up on time we put it up and started to fill with water only to find out that it had two holes in the liner. Had to drain all the water we already put in it just to attempt to fix the leaking problem. Called customer service just to get told they would send another one but what's the point we already wasted water (which isn't cheap)and time only to run the risk of getting another pool that leaks. Very cheaply made pools won't order again.
Pool pump was a problem from the beginning. Pool packaging was damaged when delivered. Driver took lots of pictures and offered to take the pool back, but we had already waited 6 weeks for it. Our kids were so excited to have the pool already, we could not break their hearts and send it back and wait another six weeks for a replacement. By then summer would be almost over. There was no way of knowing anything was wrong with the pool til 5500 gallons of water was in it. By then your not going to throw out that much water out and send it back. We thought we would do our best to fix the pump ourselves. No success! For replacement we would have to empty out the pool and send it back! Who is going to pay our water bill? To empty and refill? Walmart? I am very disappointed! We did our best not to send back and fix ourselves.
