I really don't know why everyone had such a bad experience with this pool it was awesome for me. It took us about 2 hours to set up and almost a day to fill but it was great. Our back yard isn't leveled and out pool was just fine.
I bought this pool 5 years ago and never took it down. My husband weedwacked around it every Friday and never out a hole in it. This pool is wonderful and now I had to buy a new one because Harvey flood took mine. I have never had any problemswith it. My skimmer runs 24/7 and was still working until the flood. If I had a hole I used patches that are for a pvc raft., ordered online. They are perfect for patching, the glue is from a pool store. I love my new pool and knowing it will be here for a few years, great investment.
Bought this pool in store. Gotta read directions and as long as you do EXACTLY what it says and prep your ground, this pool is great! I plan on following directions for winterizing being I live in area that drops below freezing. ALL this involves is draining, taking soft liner and filter up to store for winter. I won't take my chances, honestly the worst part was prepping ground as it says ONLY compacted soil. And level as possible.. Not sand!! It's worth it for 4 months of fun and protecting my investment to last year's!
I bought this Pool for my grandkids and about halfway filled with water it started leaking water. I called the company that makes these pools and let them know my situation. After sending proof of purchase a few pictures and One phone call they warranted my pool. Four days after submitting my Warranty I had a new pool liner, the only downside is all the water I had to waist.
Bought this last year (2017) around June but only had about 3 weeks of play time w/ it b/c it took us so long to level our ground (we did it by hand and I did it by myself! yuk!) but we totally LOVE our pool!! We cannot wait to open it this year! We actually winterized it and kept it up all winter and we are in Michigan w/ Freezing weather. It's held up nice. I suppose it wont last as long by keeping it up during winters but we don't care. Once we need a new one, we'll get a new one-beats taking it down and putting it up every year; not to mention the cost of filling it up every year.... With that said, we are buying a sand filter to attach to it this year, just because. The filter was perfectly fine for us last year, we just want a bigger one that will last many years. Would Def recommend this pool for a family.
I reviewed this pool may or June 2017. The pool lasted the entire summer last year and with proper care stayed crystal clear with no issues. We did NOT upgrade the pump. Planned to take it down for winter, but that didn't happen. I just got the pool ready for this summer and so far everything is great. Pump is still working properly after being left with a small amount of water in it during winter with a couple of freezing days. I would recommend not doing that though. I don't know why this pool has so many bad reviews. It's been great for us. We leveled the ground before setting up. It was pretty easy setting up. Took nearly a day to fill. Once filled I added the chemicals and balanced the water with the advice of a pool expert and it was good to go. Over the past year this pool has survived wind, hail, snow, freezing temps, and scorching heat and still going strong. Looking forward to a second summer with this pool!!
Online ordering and pick up from my local Walmart was so easy! Instructions were a bit confusing, I ended up with extra parts. I have no idea what a few pieces are for. There is only 1 picture of a part and then the part wasn't in the instructions, I had to guess where things went. The instructions could be more detailed! The part in the instructions where this is a 2 person job is for real!! The quality of the pool seems to be high and I am hoping that it lasts me many years to come. Important note for all new above pool owners. PREPPING is key. A level ground and unrolling the liner and letting it sit in the sun for 2 hours is the most important step in ensuring you have a great looking pool. I used an old pool cover to lay on the ground to kill grass and weeds and then filled the top with sand. I used a rake to get the ground level and free of debris. After the pool is up and the ladder is built, you are ready to fill it. Get in and smooth out the wrinkles. I started with going around the edges of the pool and used my feet to get the sand panted back down and liner smooth. Looks beautiful. Filling it with water now and I'll turn the pump on when I get home from work today. Can't wait to start swimming!
We bought this last year for my daughters birthday and it was wonderful all year. We took it down in October for the winter and put it back up last month with no problems and it is going strong. It could use a better pump but if you clean it and check chemicals every day, it stays in pretty good shape.
Don't buy this pool!! Its garbage. Set it up and right out of the box its full of tiny holes. Leaking everywhere. Bought for my grandkids and now I'm out $300.00. It can't be used. Worst product I ever bought. I'll never deal with this company again.
This pool is not worth the hassle!! After 3 weeks the liner ripped in TWO places and I only used the pool for about 15 min and that was just me floating on a raft. I never even stood by the tears! the pump is shoddy and leaks and is not really powerful enough for the size of the pool. I would suggest another brand altogether! I am going to attempt to return this defective garbage to walmart...wish me luck!
