Sun Bum Moisturizing Lip Balm, Coconut, SPF 30, 0.5 fl oz

I bought this as a gift for my friend because her lips always get burnt and she needed spf protection for them! She loves the applicator and she's actually super sensitive to lip products and she didn't have any reaction with this one! It's light and easy to apply!

I have this in my purse. I am very impressed with how it stays on and protects my lips. I plan on giving my daughter in law some for her birthday.

This do-everything lip balm is very popular and it is with a reason. Scented like a coconut, made with aloe vera, to soothe, and with vitamin E. Cruelty free, vegan, gluten free and without parabens. Multifunctional, prevents sunburn, takes care of the lips and moisturizes. With the applicator tip, it's easy to apply, goes on smoothly, providing rich hydration. Oh, yes, it's waterproof too ( up to 8 minutes). So, I guess, I have to buy a few more to fill my purses and pockets.

Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical to wear sunscreen on my lips since the last few balms I have tried that had sunscreen as a key ingredient tasted and smelled awful. Upon putting on the balm , I tested for scent. It's VERY LIGHTLY coconut scented, but not at rate that it will make you sick of it every time you apply it. It's not sticky when I smack my lips. It feels very cushiony and soft. My lips are feeling pretty hydrated too which is also a great perk. Overall this is going to be the lip balm I throw into my purse especially through the summer when I'm at the beach or pool. This balm has def beat the other ones I own that have SPF in it. Def buy this if you are in the market for a SPF lip balm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This feels really nice on the lips. It is a bit of a gooey feel though, so it's best not to overdue how much you put on. The packaging is somewhat simple but still pleasant. The scent is like coconut and I actually love it! As for sun protection, I can't really tell whether it is or not obviously. However the ingredients do include items that provide sun protection. :)

The coconut scent reminds me of the Caribbean but helps prevent sunburn. For the price you can't beat it. Good things come in small packages.

It is clear with a little bit of stickiness. My favorite part is the spf. I feel like in the summer it really saves my lips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Long cold winter got my lips chapped. This worked nicely to prevent them from hurting and cracking. It helped get them back to soft and smoothed. The texture is thick and a little heavy. I gave it 4 stars because I'm not a fan of strong odors, literally right under my nose. It is a good product and I like the packaging. The scent was the only down side for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a lip balm that contains SPF, because your lips are very prone to sun damage. The packaging of this one is very simple, but effective. I like that the applicator is a little squishy and not completely solid. It smells slightly like Coconut but nothing too crazy. This formula in particular is clear and it glides onto the lips nicely. Unfortunately here is where I knock off a couple of stars from my review. The formula feels so weird on my lips, sticky but at the same time it feels dry and like it can't move on my lips. If you have sensory issues like me, this could be a problem. It does a decent job at protecting from sun damage. All in all I would use it, but it's not my favourite.
