Sun Joe 24-Volt Cordless 17" Pole Hedge Trimmer Kit, 2.0-Ah Battery & Charger

Overall, I'd give this trimmer a very good in quality and operation. It arrived with a 1 inch hole in the box but fortunately no damage inside. On inspecting the parts, I found the blade guard was put on upside down. The assembly is easy but follow the directions and make sure the pieces lock in place. The battery needs 4.5 hours to charge and the directions say you can't leave it in the charger once it's charged, so I had to keep watching it - not great! This applies for all charging afterwards too, maybe a limitation of the lithium design. I found the trimmer did a credible job on my shrubs with the extra reach I needed to get up high. I would have liked the shoulder strap to be farther forward so the trimmer would be better balanced and easier to use, but it's designed to fit on the lower part of the pole, not the extension. I found the trigger lock button and trigger to be easy to use and liked the battery position at the extreme end of the trimmer to help with the balance, unlike some other brands. Overall, I'm happy with this trimmer.

This cordless machine works awsome and the adjustable head is a plus and also the telescoping feature allows you to reach deep hedges and tall pine trees,Sunjoe for the win.

I bought it to cut very tall hedges in my backyard. It saved me a lot of trouble ; I used to use a ladder and a small trimmer to do it ; a bit dangerous. This long trimmer worked great . I am glad I bought this , much easier now .

This trimmer is very powerful and has great run time. I was able to extend and trim my tree with ease.

Decent tool for the price - feels less robust than my older plug-in unit. Cutting larger branches will stall the motor, so take your time. Like the adjustable portions of it (tilt, length). Battery should last about an hour, but you will need to rest your arms long before that. I like it.

one of the problems i think can be improved is the activation of the trimmer, it is awkward to depress the safety lock button & activate the starting trigger. The safety lock button is to small it needs to be enlarged & be repositioned to be on the top of the handle so it can be operated with your thumb.

Works great. I like the telescoping pole but it's kinda heavy. Much heavier then my Black and Decker corded electric. I like not having to use the cord.

Works well only inconvenient it is missing a counterweight near the battery at the back to offset the one of the motor at the front.

The battery pack stopped working after one use. Would not recharge. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.
