I needed a saw that would get between links in a chain link fence, to cut branches that had grown into fence. This saw is perfect for that challenge. Also have been using it to trim smaller tree branches. It does the job and holds the charge well. Well worth the purchase.

I love Sun Joe. I have the cordless hedge trimmer, cordless pole hedge trimmer, electric chainsaw, electric pole chainsaw, cordless pole chainsaw. One other one a grass trimmer on a handle. (worthless broke right away) I added this reciprocating saw and thought it was going in the garbage too. I WAS WRONG! I had a dead bush and started with the cordless hedge trimmer. Which is fantastic. When I got to the thick branches I figured lets try the new guy. For some reason it died right away. I gave up and didn't feel like getting my electric saw out. So today I tried again. It worked fantastic. I was out there a good while and battery lasted. Using the guard makes it so much better. Its just you got to pay attention on what branches to cut first so the guard fits in bush for the next branch. No biggy. I then decided to use it without the guard. It does vibrate but I got the hang of it. It really vibrates if you are cutting one branch and tip of blade touches another branch. I just readjusted. I'm a 66yr old woman who has alot of landscaping. Sun Joe tools save me so much money. Not hiring anyone yet to do it. I have one request Sun Joe. Make a case to lug all my batteries with me out on my property. You can't go wrong with this purchase!

This is a handy little tool for multiple projects! Lightweight and easy to use. Has a safety button for those that aren't the brightest bulb on the tree. But I absolutely love the fact that you can use it anywhere and the battery life (you can't even buy a battery for this price) has been great. Definitely recommended!

this little saw is killer! he was fully charged right out of the box I went to work with it cut up several trees that were probably 6 inches across and it ran for a couple of hours if not a little longer. It did a great job and I'm very happy with my purchase!

getting this on sale for under $40 was an amazing value - just the battery would cost that much in other brands. I've only used it a couple times but it has worked great.

I receive a used machine. Blade, machine, and battery has dirt mark with a sign of used. The device seem working fine so I just keep it. I also bought the extended warranty so anything they can replace it.

Seems to work as it should, but the description never stated this was a used and or refurbished item. parts were just thrown into a dirty box to rattle around. Nothing was packaged. However, the battery itself is worth 30 dollars, so keeping.

I bought this saw just to prune trees, not big trees either. no branch that I ever cut was more than 3 inches in diameter. Ater about a month of having this saw It started smoking and shut off and never started again. I took it back to Walmart because it was still within the time that It could be returned and I also got a hold of the company and told them about what was going on. needless to say Walmart had the company ship me another one and it did the same thing didn't even last a month. So I've decided that if this continues to happen I am going to continue to call the company and use the manufacturer's warranty and get the product replaced every time because it is faulty. this is by far the worst power tool that I have ever purchased in my life.

i just received dont waste your money, battery get stuck, is like paper quality. vibrates like crazy.
