Sun Joe 13.5-Amp Corded Electric Garden Tiller & Soil Cultivator Machine for Yard, 16-Inch

Wish the speed was variable. Very powerful. Tilled just the right depth to get to the bottom of my raised bed garden. I bought it for the maximum depth. Tried some large spots in my yard for reseeding. At least depth it shredded the spots up good enough in a couple minutes.

So far after using a couple of times works great. Lots of power. Cord does get in the way so perhaps a cordless model might have worked better. I didn't think a cordless model would have enough power. Since I have a small garden (20x40) cord getting in the way isn't a horrible problem.

Really great lightweight tiller! Easy to assemble and use although it was harder when the wheels were lowered to 8 inches to move , but still dug into the dirt and broke it up. My husband did not think it would work at all bc he's used to the big heavy rototillers. I couldn't get it away from him! I finally got to use it and was so impressed with the performance, especially because I have injuries and wasn't certain I would be able to manage this but it is so lightweight I can! Grass roots will get tangled in the tines, but unwrap easily enough. for grass though you have to keep passing over it to break it up-but it will break it up. Highly recommend this machine.

I liked the power of the electric tiller and it will dig about 6 inch deep , 18 inch wide. Need to adjust handle to suite your height. pulling it backwards really cuts soil soil up fine. Is helpful to another person to hold cord to keep it out of your way and not cut it.

This little beast is amazing! I have hard clay soil. This tiller chewed right into it. Plenty of power. Wide enough to be useful but small enough to be easily maneuvered. I was happily surprised. Good little mule to have in the stable.

This gets the job done. I'm using it for my flowerbeds. It has the power level to cut through grass and small roots. It tills dirt beautifully. Ease of use!

This tiller works very well at turning over grass and soil for preparing ground to lay down pavers. It saved me lots of time and effort. I didn't want to use pitch fork because of underground sprinkler lines. Wheels allow you to set depth and easily transport it. Didn't want gas tiller because I wouldn't be running unit often, and didn't want to be concerned about stale gas or emptying gas tank.

I got this tiller to use to loosen up the soil in the chicken run mainly, but after finding out how well and easy it works I will probably have other uses for it. It is more powerful than I had thought it would be. It cut right through some roots about 1 or 1 1/2 inches in diameter. It is not as loud as I thought. The chickens do not freak out like they do when I use a weed eater or a blower any where near their run. The do stay on the other side of the run, but not really upset at all. As soon as I stop they run over looking for worms or bugs. I recommend this tiller totally. Nice that you do not have to worry with gas/oil or getting it started.

Used it twice, both times for 4-6 hours, and then the gearbox broke apart. Submitted a claim and was sent a new unit. Again, used it twice, but for a shorter period of time each use. Gear box is fractured again. Supposed to be able to till a garden with this thing? I think not.

This is not so great. It is very light, and not heavy enough to break through the soil. My husband had to do the work. I thought I could do it myself, based on the reviews, but there is no way. It jumps dangerously because it's so light-weight. It jumped up the chicken wire fencing and wrapped it up in the blades. The cord gets in the way so a second person to hold up the cord is good. I thought I could use it myself and I thought this would be great, but I was wrong. I spent a lot of money on a poor product that I wish I hadn't bought. If I could return it, I would do that.
