Walmart carries a lot of raisin options. If you zoom in on the photo, you should see, "4 lbs. Split In Two Bags." The 2-pound bags are zip locks, come in an official Sun-Maid carton, and the bags do a good job keeping the raisins fresh. PLUS, all the other options where the raisins are in cardboard, touching cardboard, are the major reason someone wouldn't like raisins. After being stored in cardboard with air seeping in and out, the raisins loose their plumpness, and they taste like cardboard by the time you get them. The plastic ziplock bags are an amazing improvement. I paid about $15 with no-strings-attached, 2-day shipping. Today, it looks like the 2-pound (32 oz) bags are also available, without the official carton, and they're $6 each, so that would be cheaper than getting two 2-pound bags for $15. Also, if you get two, separate 2-pound bags, you have to make a $35 purchase to get them shipped free. I'll try that next time. Other things to round out your $35 purchase might include Larabars or Smuckers Natural Peanut Butter. So far, I've only gotten the 4-pound option. The raisins stay fresh all the way to the bottom of the bag. And the unopened 2nd bag stays fresh without a problem. 4 pounds of raisins are a lot. But if you put a little in your oatmeal every morning, you'll use them up while they're still plump. Like any dried fruit, these raisins have a lot of naturally occurring sugar, which you should watch out for if you have them for a snack. But when you've had these juicy raisins that don't taste like cardboard, they might be irresistible. Breakfast-wise, a bowl of oatmeal with a few raisins is a lot of carbs. If that's your breakfast, please don't add more sugar. And have some protein.
