This is exactly what I was looking for. I like the deep well which goes longer without refilling. Looks great in our atrium.
I purchased this fountain in August of 2015 and loved it immediately! It's been in my courtyard adding the soothing waterfall sounds and cheerfulness with its happy sunny face for almost 5 years! I keep expecting the pump to fail way before now especially considering I have inadvertantly let the fountain run dry and/or freeze in our usually mild Central Texas winters, but "it takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'"! The light lasted a couple of years and then one day I noticed it wasn't there - don't know what happened to it?! I used a wine cork to plug the hole! I'm going to try to replace it and do what others recommended by covering the light with an amber shot glass. I usually add bleach to control the algae but it bleaches out the finish and I want to try repainting it but I'm not sure what to use. I love what one reviewer did with Modern Masters paint but I don't know what technique was used to achieve that beautiful aged patina look. Also, our hard water has caused a lot of calcium scale to build up and add to that bleached out look. So, I need to clean that up. It is heavy to move when full of water but I just 'walk it' in place. Cleaning it is a little annoying, but all of my fountains are a pain to clean! Someone offered a great solution to draining the water out the back by attaching a separate 18" length of tubing to the pump and pumping it into a bucket to water her other plants. I'm going to try the shim under front edge idea to help alleviate the splashing out. I am very happy with this fountain.
It looks beautiful on my atrium. Easy to clean and maintain. The screen helps in keeping leaves out of the water and helps with keeping the water from splashing out. Light enough for the maintenance, the only problem: when changing the water there's not a drain. Water has to be dumped from the big hole in the center of the back. I solved this by drilling a small hole on the side of the back at the very top. This helps with completely draining all the old water. Overall, it is a nice small fountain that's easy to maintain. I have it raised on a steps pedestal that I build with rose colored 15" square bricks. I do recommend it.
The fountain is exactly how it was described. It compliments my garden so well, and it arrived promptly, on time, and intact! Would recommend this product to anyone whose thinking about it!
I was very happy when I received this I was under the impression it would be more of a concrete where it's really a very heavy resin it was easy to put together one thing I will say is when you look at the photo the light appears shining up to be rather yellow in keeping with the fountain itself when in essence truly its more of a soft bluish light tone but that doesn't really bother me the performance of this Fountain is wonderful you can adjust the water accordingly to your liking I recommend low as you don't want your pump to have to work too hard and results after playing with it proof that the lower setting was more than sufficient. I love sitting on my back deck listening to that water it's so very relaxing.
I really like the fountain but it does look too plastic so I painted it with some Modern Masters paint. I didn't like the bright white light either so found a small piece of amber glassware at the thrift store to put on top of the bulb. After the tweaking I would give it 5 stars but only 4 as it is out of the box.
But, it does have a few issues. It does splatter if you do not turn the pump flow down. If you try to overfill it, the water runs out the hole in the back. The screen they provide does help, but it changes the sound. It holds a lot of water, but the water is held in a reservoir below the screen and another solid surface.
I love it! It's perfect to help drown out the annoying neighbors who constantly blast music outside when I want to play my own music, watch videos or just relax. I wish I would have gotten it years ago!
The fountain is cute but very small. Per the measurements, it seems it should be bigger. Is like a Mini Fountain, not at all a regular fountain. I have to put on a pedestal in order to make it look bigger. Had I seen it at the store, I would not have bought it. But, I ordered online. Never again.
This fountain is impossible to clean. The hole in the back is about 6" high from the ground and it does not have a hole with a plug in the bottom. So there's no way to empty all the water out without turning it on it's head and angling it so it goes out the side. Even then you can't get all the water out of it. The light puts off white light not an amber light as shown and not much light either. The fountain looks good if that's the look you're going for. Once you add water it's to heavy to move around so you have to place it where you want it then add water. The tube that came with mine doesn't reach the bottom so my pump hung in the water by the tube. I used it only one summer season on my patio and will be giving it away now.
