I really like these curtains. They're not totally “blackout”, but they still block most of the sun light on the western side of our house. The pearl white color is perfect for the bedroom. They wash and dry beautifully. I do machine wash them in a mesh bag in cold water. And I dry them on low heat for only 15 minutes. They seem to be of an excellent quality polyester, and were not very expensive.
beautiful and great quality and perfectfit
The charcoal color is a decent dark gray. The stitching is good and it does block the sun pretty good. I really like this brand Sun Zero. I have the same brand but in the "Avery" line in sage green in my livingroom and they're very well made and are even more of a blackout curtain.
I loved everything about it!!! I am very satisfied, and I am going to buy different colors of the same curtain. It has a very rich finish, and it makes my room dark even during the day (exactly what I needed). The material is excellent, and it is not see-through. It also arrived very quickly. Thank you seller
These curtains are nice for the price paid. I needed new curtains for the nursery and my toddlers room. The curtains did an okay job by themselves, but we ended up pairing them with (Achim Cordless GII Deluxe Sundown 1" Room Darkening Mini Window Blind, White- from walmart.com). I would recommend doing these together. My only negative is the sizing. I know the sizes are a standard measurement, however on a standard window it was either to short or to long (for me). We ordered 4 sets total to compare the sizes- and returned the shorter set. I will have to trim/hem about 8-9 inches from the sets we kept. But that's my only negative.
Code72, My window is realllly wide, and i was concerned it might not entirely cover it, but there's only about half an inch uncovered, now the sun won't cook me in the Mornight- If you're looking for a "blackout" curtain you cannot go wrong with this one, I went the Dark/Navy Blue shade and its nearly perfect. The photo shows 2 split curtains? It's 1 Full size curtain.. not 2. I wanted 1 but in case of confusion the photo (that's showing 2) is incorrect.
White color is definitely light gray and is light filtering not blackout. Nice heavy fabric that is soft to the touch. The stitching is very obvious but the hems are straight and they hang nicely. Does a great job insulating against the heat and has made a huge difference in keeping my room cool.
The Charcoal color displayed online is misleading, they're a very basic gray color not dark at all. They do not have a fabric liner like the Eclipse curtains do so some light does permeate through but they do a good job still of eliminating glare which is what we needed these for in my husband's WFH office. They're very silky which was a little surprising based on the Eclipse blackout curtains I've always bought and they will be an animal hair magnet for sure but they're rarely in his office so maybe that'll be okay. I ordered these because I kept ordering Black Eclipse curtains and Walmart kept sending me Beige color curtains (they did this on two separate attempts to order). We settled for these. They aren't bad but I would've preferred the brand I actually wanted- too bad no one can read Black. I also still have not received a refund for the incorrect curtains either which is especially frustrating. This isn't really the place to gripe about my messed up order but whatever gets some attention-am I right? These are good curtains though and I would buy them again if this is what I preferred- silky, semi-transparent gray
Although the color is nice, the drapes are not truly "Sun Zero". They are lightweight, silky and thin, with a bit of a sheen. There is no thermal foam backing, so the sunlght definitely filters through.
So I ordered these in white to put behind a better quality drape that is not blackout. I ordered white, but they shipped a silver color. I didnt exchange as you can't tell. However even with two drapes used together, light still gets through! I looked for a heavier one online but couldn't find it. I also want to point out that the stitching is obvious on these curtains and without the better quality drapes hanging in front, I would not use these. You get what you pay for
