Sun Zero Oslo Theater Grade Extreme 100% Blackout Grommet Curtain Panel, 52"W x 54"L, Taupe

Very pleased. I bought the Grey color. See picture of comparison with towel. You can say it is silver. Or elephant grey. Very nice! The Curtains are thick and very heavy. I am using a curtain rod made out of electrical conduit pipe to support weight without a middle bracket. The backside has a black liner. The front side has a slight shine that gives a luxurious feel / look. Grommets are pewter in color. I need to mount rod higher to block sun coming out from above. I purchased 3 to. cover 2 windows measuring 80 in. wide complete. It gives more material to play with pleats and look without them being stretched tight

The curtains are made of a very heavy fabric. The front of the fabric has a silky sheen to it, not like a satin, but silky none the less. The back of the curtain is covered in a thick black fabric that is absolutely 100% sunproof, lightproof, blackout. I held my curtain up to a spotlight. I couldn't see the spotlight through the curtain. Now, of course, the light does come through the grommets at the top of the curtain, but you can cover that with a curtain topper of your choice. The only thing that I don't like about these curtains is that they seem to attract dirt, dust and dog hair like crazy. I have a Plott hound-Mastiff-Rottweiler who drools more than he sheds, but his dog hair seems to want to be attracted to only those curtains and nothing else. I'm vacuuming the curtains with the wand attachments on a weekly basis. Other than that, I would highly recommend the curtains if you are looking for true blackout, theater, noise reduction (I forgot to mention that part. The noise from the streets below has decreased probably by 40% since I hung the curtains), and a decrease in heat (my bedroom feels cooler than it did prior to these curtains). The price was another great selling point. I was able get four panels to cover my bedroom window for the same price as 1 1/2 on Amazon or other online sellers.

These curtains are amazing! Blocks out all the sunlight so we dont have an annoying glares in our televisions. This product also does very well at blocking out heat from the windows.

They completely block out the light in our bedroom. My husband works nights and sleeps during the day, so these are perfect!

These are fantastic. I can't tell when the sun rises except for the little bit of light that hits my ceiling. It's made my room hold the temperature better and it's even quiter and similar to stepping into all movie theater! I feel like I have a whole new room. Starting nights I knew I needed something and thanks to Sun Zero these are better than I could imagine!

These are very well made curtains. I have bought this kind before for my Lanai in the back. They are very heavy and they will block out the Sun. Only reason I did not give it five stars, was because I ordered Pearl and they are a bit on the gray side. If you're looking for a light gray or a silver, this is for you. There is an ice machine on the curtain. And they were not badly wrinkled. Unfortunately I have to return because I need white.

I purchased 5 of the stone color and they arrived surprisingly quickly. They have a slightly shiny. satin- like finish that I think is pretty as it compliments the room it's in perfectly. I've only opened 3 packages so far (and yes, the wrinkle situation is Real), but the problem is, so far, they're all 3 different lengths! Afraid to open the other 2 because I'm sure I can get it back in the package. Also distasteful is the wild randomness of their pricing. I wish they would pick a price and stay there. I bought it, and 2 days later the price dropped $2. grrr!! Overall, good looking, nice heavy weight, very good light blocking abiities, but sucks that Ill likely have to live with the uneven hem because it now says they're sold out! Hassle!!!

I have purchased other curtains from the Sun Zero Oslo Theater collection. The teal color, 50x95, does not meet the level 4 blackout status. I specifically purchased them for the blackout capability. These seems to be more level 3 blockage. Light still comes through the panels. I would not recommend this color if you also want the level blackout effect.

Sun Zero Oslo Extreme 100% Blackout Grommet Curtain Panel 52x95 Navy Blue - I will start by saying that every window in my house has this specific curtain (a total of 24 panels, different colors for each room) bcz it really WAS a blackout/thermal curtain and did well for my old drafty house. It has taken me probably two years to finish every window but I kept getting the Oslo bcz I believed in it. Well, I needed more panels but they were out of stock when I looked in December 2025. They were back in stock in January 2026 so I ordered them. When I hung them, I noticed that they were about 1/2 inch longer than the "identical" set that I hung them next to. When I really examined them, I noticed that the material is not the same either (the older ones are kind of silky/satin texture and the new ones straight up feel like 70s polyester pants) and they are no longer double backed (or lined). The new ones are way thinner. I am keeping them bcz they match my existing ones better than any other panels I can find but I'm very disappointed in the quality, especially since each one is nearly twice the price that they were just 6 months ago (I just paid $30 per Navy panel)!
