The battery was a good replacement for the Kobalt OEM battery. It worked in the original Kobalt charger unlike some others I had to return from another company. The only thing it was a 5Ah instead of the original 6Ah that came with the lawnmower.
This battery was just what I needed for my lawnmower and it is for a great price and comparison to other others I have found in the market
Works really well with my DeWalt 20v tools. I'll really know how it holds up after using it for a couple of years to see how long the battery lasts. I tend to use my tools every now and then, so my charging habits might be a bit different from someone who uses them daily.
I was 'gifted' a dewalt max12/max20 DCR028 found in the attic of a home that friends' moved into. Great house built by contractor for himself, great property. Only problem was when the movers tried to extort an additional 4k out of them to finish the 'pack and move'. As the move was only an hour distant, we rallied and got the rest moved in open trailers, pickup beds. Anyhooo... Russ found the rough looking radio in the attoc and asked if I wanted it. I figured there wasn't nuch risk in it so I carried it back with me. It had a cord option so I plugged it up and found it fully functional when plugged in but without dwalt batteries I had no way of knowing if that aspect worked.... It was after all left behind. So.... I ordered these two batteries and daul rapid chargers, and on receiving them, I dutifully inserted each and found vith batteries functional. I had cleaned the radio up and found it almost pristine under the accumulated saw dust and other crud. The radios sell for $250.00 new so I figured $70 for a couple of batteries and chargers was fine. I I'm only hours into it but good so far. 4 stars because its still early in the game, will update.
They work fine with my Dealt 20V tools, but honestly, just by the weight, I don't think they're really 6AH since they weigh less than my Dewalt 5AH batteries. They don't seem to last much longer either, and my 5AHs are starting to wear out. I'd say they're more like 3AHs, so when you get two, it adds up to about 6. That said, a pack of two is way cheaper than one Dewalt of any size, so it's a decent deal. Just don't expect them to last as long as a true 6AH would.
Delivered DOA. sent correspondence through Walmart and was asked to send a video of the product. i videoed the battery with shiwi g it haf no power, and with it plugged unto a charger and no lights activating as charging. Dunbat has not replied. called their number and recieved a persinal phine message, not a businees message.
Battery fit into mower slot and started up. But only ran for a few seconds and quit. Tried other slot on mower with same result. Tried several times with same result. Mower won't run on this battery.
Battery arrived completely empty, indicator does not show any charge. Battery charged for about ten seconds, then stopped charging. Appears defective and I'm returning it.
It won't charge therefore won't work. Returning is complicated, it has to go back to the 3rd seller not Walmart.
it doesn't hold a charge
