[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great during the COVID pandemic. As a nurse, I value accuracy and efficiency in health care. This thermometer is accurate and very easy for any age group. It recalls the last 10 readings if you need the fever/temperature trends. I like the no-contact as well. I used to use a temporal thermometer on my kids, but the reading could be different depending on skin contact. This takes that variable out of the picture and is easy to check fevers on sleeping children too. What great technology!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is great!!! Firstly it measures very fast. Also it is surprisingly accurate for a non-contact thermometer. It has a large LCD screen that is super easy to read. It will store the last 10 readings. Also, as a side note this can be used as a Infrared thermometer for just about anything, as well as taking peoples temperatures. I would definitely pick on of these up if you're thinking about it, you cant go wrong with this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sunbeam HW-FI non-contact infrared forehead thermometer is more than just a forehead thermometer. According to the instructions, you can use it: orally, armpit, forehead, etc. Temperatures are indicated for the various positions. Additionally, you can use it to take the temperature of an "object" (measuring the surface temperature of an object, liquids or foods). Just change the setting from body to object by gently turning the dial. I like that it registers the last 10 temperatures taken, so you can have an account of the variations in temps when a person is ill. Additionally, two triple A batteries are provided. When placing the batteries in the unit, make sure and get one battery placed in the upward position (+) and one battery placed in the downward (-) position. There is a little (+/-) inside the battery area that shows which battery goes which direction.

It is accurate and easily allows you to check that you don't have a fever. The recall feature is great too so you can track to see if your temp has been rising or if you are maintaining normal. The screen will tell you whether the temperature is low or high, as well as the battery life and what mode the thermometer is set up in (people or object). There are other functions that I have not utilized yet. The thermometer is also very lightweight and stores easily in a drawer. The battery compartment is hard to open (I had to use a butter knife to pry it open). The included batteries are of a no-name brand. Overall, the use and quality of this thermometer appears to be worth it.
