Sunbeam Cordless, on-the-Go Electric Heated Throw Blanket, Slate Gray

It LOOKS okay. The photo online looked like it was a raised design. However, it appears to be a picture, glued to the metal backing. Being just $1.98, I should have known better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For someone that is always cold, this has been amazing to take to football games or even just sit in the backyard with my kiddos. It charges easily and holds a charge. The buttons allows it to fit, conveniently for all body types.

Its very convenient that it can be carried anywhere and bot toed to a place because it had to be plugged in. I used it on low mode and it lasted me 3+ hours. It kept me very warm. I am very excited to use it in winters. I plan to sit on my porch all morning with it.

I think this will be perfect come fall / early spring when the mornings are cool and the evenings are as well. Having a blanket is nice but having a heated blanket is VERY nice. I also really love that you can wear it as well. Very versatile and recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The On-The-Go Cordless Heated Throw Blanket, by Sunbeam, is a microplush wearable blanket. It fits like a cape. It has several snaps along one side to allow a fit that will not fall off or shift out of place. It has a rechargeable battery that fits into a pocket that snaps close and attaches to the blanket via a usb cable. It is not very heavy and yet it has a nice weight to it. The power lasts 4 hours at most and takes 2.5 hours to recharge. The throw is cozy, soft and comfortable. It has various heat levels, but it never seems to get very hot even on the strongest setting. It is mildly warm at best. And the higher the heat level the more frequent it needs charging (after 2 hours of use). It seems I have to frequently recharge the battery. Only the middle third of the blanket heats up so it leaves me wanting more heat down the front and back when worn like a cape. It is a nice idea, but if it were warmer, longer, heated from top to bottom and had to charge less frequently it would be much better. It has two large pockets that close with a snap. They are great for hands, phones, etc. The overall size is 50” x 60”. It can be used as a lap blanket as well as a cape, but still it only heats in the middle third of the blanket. I received a free product in exchange for my honest review.

The blanket is super soft and a decent thickness. I dont like how heavy the battery pack is (I expected some weight but not like this), and it pulls at your neck while standing. The heating coils are only about 2/3 of the blanket, so not everywhere gets warm. That being said, my son (11) really likes it and was happy to get it.

With uneven heating, a lower then average battery life and a bulky portable “battery” this product does what is intended but not efficiently or all that comfortably. Maybe with a replacement of the fabric used to a faux fur and a longer/light battery would make this a great product. Stick to a normal heating blanket tho

I purchased 2 "Heated" Throw Blankets for the heat and hand pocket features. I gave them as gifts. Both blankets were charged in accordance to the directions. However, neither blanket heated. I have retreived the blankets from the persons I gave them to as gifts, even tried to charge the items myself. They do not heat.
