I used it on both silk and linen curtains and am very pleased with the result! Haven't taken it on travels at this time so it's hard to comment on that aspect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not actually used this yet, but do look forward to using it on my three cruises this year. They don’t let you use irons on cruises because of possible fire danger so this will be a great thing to take to get the wrinkles out of clothes.

As others noted, this is a very heavy steamer, so would not be ideal for travel. It took about five minutes for it to heat up the first time, but once it did, it produced a lot of steam and made quick work of a dress I bought on Amazon that was all smooshed up and wrinkled all over. The issue I had is after several minutes the handle started to get hot. Was not a huge problem during one item, but if you have several things to steam, I could see it getting uncomfortable and that's ultimately a dealbreaker. Too bad since it did a good job with the steaming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very efficient and portable. It’s durable for its size and versatile. It is safe to operate. I would say for its size, you can steam normal size garments. But nothing too big and you’d have to go in sections.

My previous handheld steamer took up too much space in my luggage, so I would either have to throw things in a steam dryer or hand it in the bathroom and steam the shower. This thing really works! Effectively produces a lot of targeted steam. I will steam my curtains and everything with this. Brings fabrics back to life!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Steamer is easy to use, and very effective. It heats up quickly, and kept a nice, consistent flow. Not sure what could change, but feels like there’s not much keeping you safe from the hot plate. It’s very exposed, and needs some sort of protection. Also wish the included bag was a bit larger.

It took forever to warm up to a useable heat which has not been my experience with other travel steamers. The instruction manual lacks any clear usage tips other than filling the water reservoir.
