I had bought one of these blankets at the store for my hubby. He likes the length and helps him sleep better. I decided to order one for me. The downside is the wire. I'd like to know who's the genius that decided to put the chord in the middle of the blanket.

This is so great that I just ordered a 2nd one. This company really knows how to make a heated blanket: just the right size and long enough to cover my feet, the heat choices are just right and the controller is streamlined. The fabric is super-soft. When I first used it I realized that I hadn't previously recognized how bone cold I was just under regular blankets. Fall asleep fast and let your body use its energy to repair rather than using energy to keep body warm!

You can always trust a Sunbeam to be a quality. This was very soft as well as adequate heat output even at the lower levels. What makes this even better is that it has an Automatic Shut Off and it is oversized so you can actually have it on your bed if you want it that way. It's just a really pretty blue color.

The only complaint is that the area that it plugs into on the blanket is right next to your body and is bulky. The controls there are also not the easiest, especially if you cold %26 don't want to take your hands out. But the elderly person that I bought it for really likes it.

The switch to turn your blanket on, off, switch the heat is not on the cord where you can reach it, the switch is at the blanket, on the long side. the only way to turn on or adjust this blanket is to feel around the entire blanket for the buttons. and what happens if you happen to move under this blanket? you probably turned the heat off entirely. Terrible design. Ive used it twice and hate it.

I love almost everything about this throw—the size, the warmth, the softness. BUT the controller is attached directly to the fabric, on the underside, and it's placed half-way down the side! I have to search for it in the middle of the night, half- asleep, and sometimes have to find the wire and pull. How long is this going to last without breaking? I'm looking to replace this otherwise wonderful blanket and return it, because the design is so stupid. And, no, it is 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗, unless you have exceptionally long arms and can see through fabric in the dark.

I ordered this throw because I was seeking relief for my chronic pain. Love that it's so soft and not too thick. The deal breaker for me is the placement of the control. Instead of being on the bottom corner, it's in the middle on the side. Sunbeam broke something that didn't need to be fixed. Unfortunately, I was so desperate I used it and thought I could deal with it, so I've used it. Now, I have to deal with it regardless.

I bought this product based on reviews. I bought 2. One works well. The second one does NOT heat all over the throw. It's a small portion that heats up. It's random about whether it heats at all. I would have returned it, had my husband not thrown out the box. Check carefully to determine effectiveness and condition before you throw out box. Keep your options open.

I bought two of these blankets, they started off heating. I would say a three out of five. It's been one week since I started using them and one of them have already bit the dust. The other one seems to only be heating and small areas of the blanket. I definitely won't be recommending or purchasing these again.

First of all this looked like an item that had previously been returned..box was retaped, bits of white fuzz on blanket. Decided to try it anyway. The cord kept disconnecting from the blanket and the blanket didn't heat up very well. The cord is also in a very inconvenient location. The blanket is depressingly thin.
