I got this for my Uncle (102 years old!!). He fell and broke his hip April 2024 and couldn't be rehabilitated. Active before that, he now can only sit in his recliner 😢🥺. He was always cold and his caregivers would use multiple blankets but to no avail. I ordered this and had it delivered Nov. 2024 and he thanks me every time I call and talk to him! “You couldn't have gotten me anything better!” Grateful for this product P.S. The picture is in the day I discovered his hands and feet were freezing. Which prompted me to buy the blanket - just wanted to show this precious centenarian!!
I LOVE this blanket. It's very light-weight, so it will be easy to wash. I got this as a replacement to one my PARENTS had for years, it was so old- but it worked great!!! So when it did finally stop working, it must have been at least 12 years old or more? So I wanted another Sunbeam- and I love this one. The control is easy to use, and this has more heat settings than others. I can't imagine how hot this gets- I've only put it at 6 so far and it's blazing! Normally (here in Fl) when the weather warmed up I just keep it at a cozy 3 and it's so wonderful. The OTHER thing is- it says ON for 12 hours! Some others automatically shut off after 6 hours, and I would wake up cold. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this blanket!!!!
i like it because it is lightweight. And has the 12 heat settings and 12 hour automatic shut off. I normally just set it on 1 and it keeps me comfortable. The highest I've had it is 3 and that was on nights when it was down in the low to mid teens. It works very well for being so lightweight. So i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight heated blanket.
I got this for my three cats, with the temperature dropping I wanted them to have a way to stay warm.
it's a nice soft comfortable blanket that's not heat up very well been sitting on level 10 for 2 hours now still lukewarm just as a blanket over the top of you
Only worked for two weeks . Will not heat.
The blanket woke me up. It was so hot and I only had it on number one. I had to unplug it because I was afraid it would catch on fire. Definitely need to return it. The blanket woke me up. One would have to sleep perfectly still, and straight, in order to be covered with the heating wires all night. The wires only cover 37", so if you turn onto your side while sleeping, you're likely to have a cold backside.
Well I had the discomfort to find out the delivery driver left the package on top of a lit grill on my porch why he could not leave on the ground I have no idea but it melted through the blanket
Bought to replace a Sunbeam electric blanket I bought 2yrs ago that stopped working. This 1 slightly warm yesterday but today it won't heat up at all now, even tried it on all the settings. I unplugged it %26 retried it a few times this am %26 it won't even get slightly warm. Returned it just now. The fabric is flimsy and not soft like the old model. The quality has decreased. I am so disappointed. I suspect the old one's connection isn't made sturdy enough even when you try to keep it flat %26stable on the bed.
