Heavenly!

MsDeucie January 6, 2023

Very warm, plush and cozy! I love getting into my bed at night - after warming it up at a higher setting for 20 to 30 minutes - it’s like slipping into a heavenly dream, especially on these cold winter nights…love that it has 10 heat settings and automatically shuts off after 10 hours. I usually turn mine down to lower setting 1-2 for sleeping. It really is a wonderful way to end the day and fall asleep. I received my blanket a few months ago from a promotion. I loved mine so much that I bought 7 more of these for all my grown children and dear friends for Christmas this year! I wanted to share warmth and love and these blankets were perfect. Excellent quality’

Excellent electric blanket for those COLD nights.

Steven February 23, 2023

With this long California Winter this year, and the high Natural Gas prices, we've kept the house at a low temp and it's cold inside. This electric blanket was the prescription we needed. It works great and has a control for each side. I suppose if you want, you can even use it as a wrap on the sofa when watching the boob tube.

You get what you pay for.

Beth May 25, 2024

I purchased this blanket on sale for under $20. Being that is was that inexpensive, I really didn't expect too much, and that was exactly what I got. The blanket does work properly but is a very thin, light weight blanket. Really you may get by with adding a thick blanket over this blanket or use maybe for a sofa blanket but don't expect a lot. Decent buy for the money. Would recommend for backup maybe.

This blanket is thin and feels more like a bed-spread. The controls are made out of lightweight plastic and feel flimsy. I'm surprised by the poor quality. Electric blankets I've bought in the past were thick and substantial, but not this one. It does heat up, though. I don't recommend it.

I am so unhappy

Walmartshopper December 15, 2023

Received this wrapped in plastic inside a shipping box. Looks like used/return. YUCK!! This was a gift, I would be embarrassed to give this. I dont even want to open bag. God knows whats "living in the bag with this blanket". No one now can afford to just throw away money and that is what i did by purchasing this blanket. Do better by your customers.

Highly Disappointed! :(

Avril September 3, 2024

I usually do not purchase Sunbeam electric blankets bcz years ago I bought one and it didn't work well either so I was stuck with it :( But I chose to take a chance on these because … (1) I purchased one of the Sunbeam throws earlier that year and was pleasantly surprised because it worked nicely so I thought these blankets would also. (2) they were at an affordable price and since my family and I are all on disability and a fixed income, I thought this was an affordable way for us to stock up for the winter. You know, get a jump start on what my family views as an important item that helps with our ailments. We actually use our blankets all year round, not just winter. So please imagine my hurt and disappointment when the blanket I unwrapped and put on my bed didn't work well. It barely got warm! :( I tried working with it for days. Unplugging and plugging it back in several times over, and I tried straightening and gently smoothing out the coil lines but none of that worked :( I got frustrated after a week of trying so I took it off my bed, folded it up and put it in the chair and decided to try one of the Biddeford blankets. Sad to say, I feel like I got scammed. Like maybe the blankets were defected so that's why they were cheap. I thought they were inexpensive because Walmart may have been trying to get rid of them because of it being summer. And I most definitely would've reported this much earlier but I had forgotten where I purchased them. It wasn't till this evening when I signed up for the Walmart plus program and was approved for a 50% discount because of having Medicaid. I started looking at my Walmart account to see how to link the Walmart plus to my device when all these things to review popped up! And there were the blankets! So I decided to do this review. And even though it's sadly very low.

refurbished or damage returned items

Ali April 23, 2024

This is some sort of scam for these blankets on clearence. These are either refurbished or returns just like other reviews say! They dont come in cardboard box like in stores. The cord is grey but yet the end in the blanket is white so Im concerned electric component is dangerous and all four blankets are like this. These blankets dont even smell new! They were wrapped in nasty plastic. I always stood by sunbean as best in business. Now I see they scam their customers and Im disgusted Wal-Mart honors this type of business! You cant sell these on clearence as if they didnt sell during season! These need advertised as 2nd hand, hand me downs. Do not buy these online!

They had to be put in the trash because they can in wet and moldy. Causing me to have a bad asthma attack. Could not even keep them in my house. It only took 2 days to get from where they were shipped from to my location, they were wet and moldy when they left the store.

OMG!

Anonymous May 11, 2024

I order two of them they were shipped from South Carolina, got to Wyoming in 2 days. When I got them in the house there was a moldy smell when I opened the box one of the blankets was wet and covered with mold and the other one smelled like mold. I have asthma and mold is one of the worst things I can be around. I had to put both of them in the trash! They did refund me my money. I know that blanket had to of been wet when it was shipped. Shame on them I could have ended up in the hospital because of that mold.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Mimi17 February 24, 2023

Was nice the 4 months 3 weeks it worked! Struggling to get a new one or refund under the written 5 year warranty. DO NOT BUY THE ALLSTATE ADDITIONAL 2 year WARRANTY! It rejects the claim I tried to file because it’s still under the manufacturer warranty, yet the ALLSTATE 2 year starts on the date purchased
