I am so glad that I stepped out on faith and purchased the Sunbeam Electric Blanket. Very large for a twin size and covers my queen size beds. My family and I are very warm and cozy using only the first setting. Place the blanket on top of your top sheet and not directly on your skin. I first bought 3 and went back and bought 4 more as presents and to use as throws when lounging on the couch. Fast shipping and received in 2 days. Thank you Walmart. Please restock so other customers can enjoy this great buy!
My son lives out of state and recently got sick. I immediately ordered this blanket for delivery. Not only it was at his door at the indicated date, but it also worked wonders for his achy body. The heat settings were appropriate and comfortable. My son was very satisfied and thankful.
I bought this blanket as a gift for an older person who didn't have an electric blanket and was sleeping under the weight of 8 old blankets. She is going to be thrilled to have one nice, cozy blanket with many temperatures to chose from. Very nice blanket.
This blanket is ok. It warms the bed up enough if you turn it on about 45 minutes before you go to bed. But like all electric blankets now, it just doesn't get very warm. I have to put it on high to get it to feel as warm as it does, and that isn't much. I have bought many electric blankets over the last several years and they all seem to be the same. This one works as well as the more expensive ones do. It is rather a curse to be old enough to remember how warm the older blankets would get. They don't make them like that anymore because of fire hazards. So this is the new normal. Better than nothing.
I chose the twin size and it covers my feet nicely, don't have to worry about sizing up. The blanket is soft and you have to wait a bit until the blanket fully heats up, it gets very warm. I didn't even have to put the heater on. Price was the cheapest I could find. It was a great deal.
This blanket is thin, but that was perfectly fine because it was heated. My issue is with the heat itself. I got this blanket October 23rd, and at first the heat was perfect! I have anemia and my feet are ALWAYS cold. After about a week, I noticed the heat wasn't as strong... even on the highest setting. It's as if the heat goes in and out. It's November 12th, and I'm already looking for a new blanket.
stopped working after 3 months
I was incredibly disappointed in this blanket! I wanted to love it so bad but it just doesn't get hot at all. Honestly, it barely even gets warm. It is not at all what I expected from a heated blanket. I will most likely return it but hate to even deal with the inconvience.
I'm really disappointed in the company for making such a low grade blanket. It barely puts enough warmth out to say it's warm. I freeze to death. Not only am I out of a warm blanket but I'm out the money too. I could never sell a product that doesn't work. If I had known it wasn't going to work; I could have sent it back. It's a sunbeam blanket.
This was delivered today. Its thin. Like craft felt thin. i have a Sunbeam throw that quit after 9 months(shouldve known better, huh?) and it was thin too, but still twice as thick as this. Pic is the old tan throw on top of this new one. Anyway, I figured as long as it was warm it didnt matter so I plugged her up and cranked it up to high. Its been an hour and a half and the thing is barely warm, and only in patches. Ill be returning it tomorrow. Please dont waste your money. Even for a cheap one, this is not worth it.
