Super soft. Works great. It even has a little pocket for your feet! I got this for my daughter who gets really cold in her basement bedroom and she LOVES it!
So far so good but I went to purchase another one for a gift and the price went from 25.00 to 52.00 😳
A little too furry. However, did the trick for my trip (from Florida) to visit my sister in NH!
It's very soft, which I like, and it has a foot pocket, which is also great. The problems come with the use of it. First off, the plug that attaches to this throw is located at the bottom, where your feet go. It's very hard to connect "until it clicks," and even more difficult to disconnect (the plastic fastening mechanism bends, and I suspect will not last for more than a few unpluggings). Unless you're going to curl up under this heated throw on the floor near a plug, the cord is not of adequate length; especially because they explicitly say not to use it with an extension cord. The cord is structured on a way that has the 5 or 6 feet of electric cord going to the temperature controller, from which another cord (with the connector) goes down to the bottom of the throw, which for me is a bit awkward, and limiting with regards to locations to use this throw. It gets nicely warm on "high," but not hot. This is likely a good thing, as this is meant for warmth, rather than as a giant heating pad (to be honest, I wouldn't mind a 50x60 inch heating pad, but that's another story). It seems to be well made, aside from the connector, as I said above, and if the cord situation were less odd and awkward, in use, I would give this electric throw a solid 4.5 stars. As it is, it gets a 3.0 because I got it on discount and it's soft and warm, but a little bit meh. If the cord situation isn't problematic for you, then I'm 100% certain that you will love it!
It sheds fluff. The highest temperature setting is about normal body temperature. It's small. The color is even worse than the picture. Unbelievably, you can't turn it off without unplugging it at the wall... not that there is a reason to. But it's cheaper than the alternatives. Based on everything else, I figure it will stop functioning completely in a few weeks.
I thought it was too thin, cheaply made and over-priced, considering the lack of quality. threads pulled out after just a couple of uses.
I've had this blanket for approximately six months with use 1-2 times a week. After using this blanket last night, I heard a buzzing sound coming from the blanket. Upon inspection the blanket produced a huge spark and then caught fire. If I had not been home when this happened this blanket would have burnt my house down. I highly recommend avoiding this product.
Tonight is my first ever time using this blanket and I am so disappointed because it is not heating up even on the "High" setting. It is cold here and I was really looking forward to being nice and cozy. I am going to get a refund because I need one that will keep me warm.
Worked for about a week and now Does Not get hot even on High! I've had it on High since then and nothing! I haven't even washed it because that's what happens when you do! So mad!
I loved this throw but I bought it in September and it has already quit working (It's January!). I'm hoping Walmart or the company that made it will make this right.
