dont no yet it a Christmas gift
This may be the best electric blanket I've ever owned. I like the plush texture, the heat controller, the evenness of heat; the quick response on cold nights, and the color (blue), the only color available. Some day I will try the WiFi feature, but I did not buy it for WiFi, and I'm pleased that I don't have to enable WiFi to use the blanket. An especially good feature is that my cat does not get back claws caught in the weave. That has been a problem with all previous fleece blankets. This blanket is a Full, so just one control. For me, perfect.
What a luxury to ask Alexa to preheat your bed from anywhere in the house and have a toasty bed waiting and ready. How wonderful it will be when I head home from my overnight shift this winter and have a nice, warm bed to get into. I always used to kid with my co workers that someone needed to come up with a bluetooth for this exact reason and now I am in heaven. Great concept and best Christmas gift I could have ever given myself. Highly recommend.
I love it!! You can preheat it from your phone.
I love this blanket and being able to adjust it in the app when I'm too lazy to reach for the controls. You have to use the controller when you want the heat level at 5 but usually 3-4 is more than enough for me. You can feel the wires inside the blanket and the heat doesn't seem to be distributed evenly, but it's good enough. My biggest issue is how much it sheds. After using it I always have little globs of it stuck to my clothes.
I had to order mine online as the local stores that said they had it in stock in fact did not and after driving to every Wal Mart in the vicinity I decided I'd wasted enough gas and time and just ordered online. Blanket was delivered approximately a week later. Blanket out of the box had no bad smells, the directions were easy to understand and connect to my Android phone (Note 8 if that matters). I plugged it in prior to taking it upstairs and putting it on my bed to make sure the blanket worked (Most important!) and that it worked with the app. The app was annoying to me at first because if I were away and wanted to set the bed on anything above setting 4, you have 30 minutes to get to the manual control to confirm by pushing the check button or it turns the blanket down to setting 4... which I at first thought defeated the whole point of smart/wireless control but turns out it works just fine. The bed is plenty warm with the flannel sheets under it on setting 4 by the time I get around to turning in for the evening. I absolutely love that I was able to set schedule for it too. On before I get home from work, off after I'm asleep. As long as it doesn't malfunction, I will never have to climb into a frozen bed again. There is no dual control like other full/queen electric blankets I've had before have had and that may be an issue with some couples. I don't care, because I am single and just the convenience of being able to have it on prior to going upstairs and turning in makes it well worth it lacking dual control. I do notice that one side is much warmer than the other. This doesn't bother me, although I do hope it is not indicative of any issues. I am so very happy with this purchase and 100% would buy again. There is nothing quite as lovely as climbing into a cozy, warm bed in the middle of winter. Sleep quality has improved so much!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh I love this sunbeam electric Blanket. It is super soft, warm of course, comfy and cozy. It goes from level 1 to 9. It's warm but not hot, it goes from lightly warm to just right warm fro me. I would use only at like level 5. I personally think this blanket would be warm without being turned on. It's 100% polyester but feels soft like Sherpa, it's super soft. It can be operated with the attached remote or with the sunbeam app. The app was fairly easy to setup. I had no issues at all. The app has more operating features than the remote control such as timer, scheduling, and preheating. I think the app is necessary because the electrical wiring for the blanket is on the bottom of blanket and wouldn't reach me to operated. The wire from blanket to remotes is long. They needed to have made the wire from the remove to my outlet longer. I am amazed and happy this blanket is actually machine washable. Overall I am happy with this blanket, the only thing I didn't like was it left dust/link behind on me and my bedding .
There was no selection of other colors. The price was OK in comparison to other stores but still high. It is too soon to comment on quality.
The blanket does not heat in all areas, one side is much hotter than the other.
This blanket stopped working after four months of use. I've called and called and called Sunbeam, but they don't respond. You get sent to voicemail, leave a message, and they never get back to you. Also, I tried customer contact through their webpage. Same thing. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The worst. Zero would be a better star rating than one.
