This XL heating pad is wonderful for therapy use or to warm the bed before sleeping. It was a very good price and the shipping was fast.
Love that I can control from an app. Can set timer to turn off. Can preheat it before you go to bed. Very soft and keeps me warm! I have had it for a few months now and love it.
this blanket is so super soft and you can't really feel the coils. I was impressed with the quality and I will buy more
This blanket is awesome. We love preheating the blanket from downstairs before bed so that it's warm when we go to sleep! The best.
WiFi connected heated blanket. Only flaw I did have a thread come loose but other than that perfect. I did pick up for 50% off tho
Ok obviously this is only a short term review since I just got this. BUT, definitely worth the $ so far. The heat settings are amazing, even on low it's perfectly toasty. Has an app you can download to turn it on and change settings from your phone when you're anywhere in your house on Wi-Fi. Even without turning it on it's so cozy and soft! Favorite heated blanket I've ever owned. I'm hoping the long term of it will be just as good! Only downside I can think of is it only comes with one controller that can control both sides of the bed. Although this may not be in issue for some that sleep with a partner since it comes with the app and can be adjusted on there. So happy with this purchase, the Sunbeam brand seems to rarely disappoint.
I wanted an electric blanket and saw one on sale in November on a different app that was a luxurious Sherpa. When it arrived, it was luxuriously thin, I could feel where every wire was. I didn't want to deal with returns. So I kept it and it got really warm, Until last week when it stopped. Looking back at the reviews, they all say it stopped working just after two months. So, that was returned and I began a search for a quality blanket, one like my parents had well beyond my years, and finally remembered the name was Sunbeam. I searched the internet for days because I wanted Sherpa and I wanted wireless but the price was over $150 and I just can't justify that for a blanket. I remember from when I was a kid, the tangled mess the cords became and how my parents would be frustrated by them the one I just returned it was impossible to place the controllers anywhere very convenient and the cords were beginning to get tangled under the bed and I don't want that extra stress so I've decided it's not a pointless luxury, it provides peace of mind so it was worth the stress of searching for days for the right one. Then, one night while searching, I saw this one get marked down to a very reasonable price. So reasonable I took a few minutes to double-confirm that this wasn't a throw or reconditioned/used. It's not Sherpa, but that's not worth another $60 to me. So I just bought it right then and waited. It said it would be days before it arrived and there was a cold front coming so I also purchased a throw. From another company. Smart blankets have not been getting good reviews so I wanted to do a little testing on my own and see if the reviews are right or if it is just a lot of user error. So the EB smart electric throw in reversible sherpa arrived first and it is a very nice blanket but the reviews are right. Such a pain to set up and so far awful customer service. (I'm still waiting on a help request to get it set up), it's probably going back next week. This sunbeam blanket arrived and is very impressive! It is super soft fleece, probably the next best thing to Sherpa. It's a medium thickness. I can tell there are wires in it, but I don't feel the wires when I'm lying under it. I had this blanket on the bed, connected and wired up in under an hour. The app paired effortlessly. I LOVE the preheat feature. I can switch it on when I get in bed so I get a blast of comforting heat that helps me fall asleep knowing in an hour it will go back down to my normal sleeping temp of three or four. I can control each side independently or both simultaneously with my phone or the single control box which easily runs up the bed length and over the headboard in the middle providing easy access to guests ensuring everyone is comfortable and I don't notice any cold gap in the middle of the bed that I read a couple of complaints about. I have a good feeling, a warm fuzzy wireless feeling, that this blanket will be with me for a very long time.
I have now owned two of these blankets which is why I gave it three stars because I love the idea of preheating my bed but the problem is the heating blanket will not heat up much or as well after a year of use. There is no way of washing this blanket without having it not work after which I wish there was a removable cover instead. The wireless feature is nice but once you click once on your app you can't re click it again without physically turning on the button which is annoying when your out and wanting to heat the bed before coming home it won't get as warm. Overall I do love this blanket but I would suggest the upgrades of a removable cover and a better app to work with the remote.
Stopped heating after a few months. The manufacturer offered a refund. Replacement parts aren't available for safety.
This is the third blanket that I tried... The first one I could not get the wifi to work. The second one did NOT heat in the middle of the blanket. The third one die not heat in the middle and I spent an hour to get the wifi to work with Amazon Echo and Google Nest. Could not get to work. I can't believe that they sell a heated blanket that does NOT heat in the middle.
