Stopped working within a year
I was gifted this blanket around Christmas last year. It worked okay, never got very warm. I washed it according to the instructions and now it doesn't get warm. I would not recommend this blanket.

Poor wiring
Bought this for my mom for Christmas. She had it a week and it was purchased about a week before that. She has never washed it or caught it in anything. Nor ever folded it wrong. She had it on and it all of a sudden shorted out and made a loud popping noise. Luckily no one was hurt and nothing caught fire. Will NEVER purchase another sunbeam product again. This could have been a VERY bad situation. If I could, the company as a whole would get no stars.

Got this for myself on 12/23/2021 and it's already shorted out and now the high light flashes at me and the medium light flashed super fast at me.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!
I had the same issue with this blanket as everyone else that left a bad review. I sit in a recliner with my heated blanket, all excited to have foot pockets and the dang thing shorted out and I started smelling it thank God. I got the same blinking light as everyone else. I hope people read these reviews before they ever purchase one because I didn't and I'm sorry I didn't now.

Breaks almost immediatly
Literally stopped working two days after purchase. Blinking light, won't turn on. I bought two and they both broke today (two days after purchase) on the coldest night of the year.

I got a few uses then the red blinking light. Not my first sunbeam product. They don't last at all

Poor quality fabric
The fabric leaves pill balls on clothes. Very thin and poorly made.
