This is the second Sunbeam blanket I’ve owned... it’s the best one yet! I never have to use a setting higher than “L” low... it’s a very very warm blanket and if I need a higher setting ...level 3 is about as high as I go... keeps me toasty warm and very comfortable!
I haven't had a heated blanket in a while. I love that I can set this to a range of temps. I also love that it feels plush without feeling too weighty. I use mine under a quilt and I do not get overheated. Being over 50 it is important not to get too hot or too cold.
I bought this blanket when my space heater could not keep up. It was 32 degrees outside and 52 where I sleep. Traditional blankets (multiple !) were just not enough. I was freezing ! And so ... I bought a Sunbeam electric blanket. What a difference ! I would recommend this blanket without hesitation !
Best heated blanket I've ever purchased! My heat went out a couple weeks ago and the company was booked up with repairs so I had to wait a little while before someone could fix it. I purchased the blanket to keep me warm at night and it worked amazingly!
I bought three about 4 weeks ago. Two twin and one queen. We love them! They automatically shut off so I do not have to worry about the boys doing that everyday and they make sleeping a dream in a cooler room which the boys have upstairs. The heat does not seem to circulate up there properly. Now I do not have to worry if they are warm enough. They can set their own temperatures to their comfort. I would recommend these to anyone.
As I said in my previous review, I am happy with the purchase. My wife seems pleased also. As of this review, I have had it 40 days. So, as expected, no problems. The Sunbeam electric blanket that it replaced performed very well for over nine years (five-stars). The reason I have not rated this one higher is only because it is new. (The warranty is still in effect.) Hopefully, it will also last more than five years. Then, it becomes a five-star blanket.
Live in a snowy climate with nothing but wood stove and space heaters to stay warm. Works very well but recommend you preheat blanket then begin a lower setting. Only problem I found is that when I pull blanket up when making bed I feel I try to be careful because I feel I might be pulling the electrical lines out of place.
Review of Sunbeam Full Channeled Microplush Heated Blanket, Lagoon – Dec 02, 2016 I purchased this heated blanket recently (October) and was pleased to buy it when it was on sale and with free shipping, which arrived ahead of the scheduled delivery date. After speaking with a S.B. customer service agent and getting a recommendation regarding which blanket would best suit my preferences, I can report that in short time I have had it (30 days), I am completely satisfied with the blanket. As described on the website and by the agent, the material is soft and supple, the heating wires are thin, light-weight, and not obvious, and the heat is evenly disbursed throughout. Furthermore, the control device is well-designed, convenient to use and place on a night stand next to the bed. In sum, I would recommend Sunbeam and this particular blanket to anyone who is thinking about purchasing a heated blanket. Ray K.
I'd never had an electric blanket before, I was suprised by how nice the heat feels! When I turn it on the heat isn't steady on at the number i selected. It seems to pulse on and off. On 3 and belove its not as noticable but on setting 4 and above it seems to pulse on at close to full power for a few seconds then turn off. It gets so warm that it will pull me mostely out of sleep for a second then it shuts off and I will drift off till I get too cold and not fully wake me up but I am aware that I'm cold. On the lower settings it doesn't seem to be so drastic that it's an issue. If you have colder* space I would not recommend this product as it is not working for me. *note that I live in southern California. It's not cold here compared to LOTS of other places.
This blanket is warm and cozy I loved it up til this morning around 5 am it started having blue sparks everywhere it wasn't too hot or anything so I immediately turned it off and now it's cold and it still shocked me on my big toe it felt like a bee sting on my toe I wouldn't get this one it's to dangerous I'm afraid it's gonna cause a fire one of these days I got back in December 2020
