I was hesitant to order this because I already have a heat pad to lay on when I have back pain… but I ordered it anyways because I also have pain in other places on my body. I haven't had a single regret about ordering it! It feels so good on my old bones!
Always been happy with sunbeam electric blankets, the last one lasted over 3 years. It was the WiFi kind and I loved it had a low setting. This one doesn't. The light on the heat control isn't my favorite either. However, overall pleased with purchase.
I am a very cold py. If it wasn't for this blanket , I would have to use a heater and that's a lot more money. I live o Fla. but I still freeze.
I like the soft plush material and light weight. The controller is not easy to operate next to the bed when half asleep. Would like one that is upright with smother turning wheel, not needing two hands to operate.
This blanket is heavy and very plush. It doesn't however get warm enough on the highest setting... which is 12. It feels like it is on what maybe 6 or 7 should feel like. It comes in a heavy plastic bag that I put it back in for the warmer months. I ordered it right at the end of winter... got maybe 35 degrees a few nights. It warmed up the bed for me and I slept with it over my top blanket with a sheet under that. So it is adequate for me... it took the place of my heavy duty sleeping bag. Felt good...
I love this sunbeam heating blanket! It is really warm and if you put another blanket or comforter on top you may end up sweating! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the high prices are crazy and I normally have to replace it every year and rarely wash it because it will mess them up over time. Also the controller (on off button) is easy to break. If its pushed in too much it wont come out and I have had a few ruined on accident because my kids or dogs have broke it by pushing it in too much.
The wires stick out and are super uncomfortable. It doesn't get hot evenly, you risk burning yourself even on a low temperature. It's not worth it. Look elsewhere.
Stopped working after a few months
Used this blanket about a month and the left side remote doesn't work anymore flashes all the time. Can't turn it off have to unplugged it.
Don't buy anything from sunbeam! This blanket stopped working after only a few uses. I emailed sunbeam for the 5 year warranty that is ADVERTISED and they refused to replace the blanket. I even provided PROOF of purchase!! That's fraud!
