I haven't used it yet. I bought it for the emergency weather we are about to get. But I'm I figured that this heated blanket will help protect me from the Arctic storm we're going to have this weekend. I don't have insulation in my bedroom. I'm hoping that this blanket will help keep me warm. The heat in my ********* truck doesn't work right. So I don't use it. I'm hoping that this blanket will help me stay warm if I stall out somewhere. Until at least AAA arrives. I feel like Linus from Charlie Brown. Thank you so much for your delivery. I don't think that you know how some of your products really help people.
I have endometriosis and adenemyosis this has been such a life saver for my last two surgeries and honestly just to get through work!! Loveeee thiss I wish it lasted longer with the charge but it's wireless I can freely walk around and still get heat on my back and my stomach!!
My mom loves it, it was a gift for her as she is always cold and this gives her the freedom to be able to move around the house without having to remove it
I am disabled and bought this because i can't take the cold. i wanted to use it for when i need to go on the porch n get my groceries. However, it's way too bulky. it heats well....best on high. Unfortunately, it diesnt last long....maybe an hour. The charger takes twice as long as stated to charge, which is a pain. As for the wires. they seem ok for now, but i dont see it lasting that long, maybe a season or two. However, if u need to at least get the chill off while outside, this is best since it's rechargeable. i would recommend.
I really liked the material inside and out, as well as the versatility- wearing it, or using it as a throw. However, the small battery is only able to heat the small section surrounding the battery pocket leaving most of the throw unheated. Perhaps a larger battery with more power would solve this problem, or maybe even a second battery. The concept is great. I was excited to wear the throw and be warm, but my expectations were unmet.
For the price this was a disappointment. I purchased 3 for a cabin trip, we opened one the night before to charge the battery and text it out. The blanket did not get warm enough, it was warm enough for a newborn baby not an adult. Seems as if there should be tabs on each side to secure the blanket so it can mimic a coat. Also, there are snaps on one side, the other side has snaps on one part of the blanket, but no adjoining snaps to attach it to, so it works as a jacket with one arm. I decided to not open the other two and just return them. Hopefully the one I opened was just a defect.
I thought the price point on this was pretty high at $85, but I was headed to a soccer tournament for my son and wanted an extra layer of warmth. Unboxed the product at my hotel and plugged it in overnight to charge. Woke up in the morning to only two lights out of either 4 or 5 that were supposed to indicate a full charge. Decided to take it with me anyways and give it a go. It actually kept me decently warm and I appreciated the hood that kept it all in place, but unfortunately the warmth only lasted about 45 minutes. I took it back and plugged it in again, hoping that the lack of a full charge was a fluke, but no such luck. It would light up like it was charging, but would never take a charge. I reached out to the company for support hoping that maybe they would just send me a new battery pack, but their advice was that if none of the troubleshooting worked to just return it to the store. For an $85 price point, I would expect a better quality device (and better customer service given that most companies want you to come to them with an issue first instead of returning).
I was very excited to use this as a sports mom but they were just more trouble than they are worth. The fit is awkward and they just don't get much warmer than a regular blanket. They are also pretty small so they don't cover your legs at all, still have to bring a blanket in addition.
Terrible blanket that is absolutely not worth $80 . Barely gets warm, definitely not hot. And it constantly turns off seemingly in its own because of where the button is located and how sensitive it is to touch.
Thie only thing this thing has going for it is that there's fleece lining that's helping it be soft. I am a rather sick person and I stay cold. My family and I went out to our local zoo to see the Christmas lights and I had on multiple layers of everything and added this. I made sure the battery was awake and I set the power as high as it would go. it never got warm. Paying almost $90 for something I would expect it to work and like another product I've bought that was a Sunbeam product, I was disappointed.
