my husband stays cold, i stay hot. this has been a game changer. he just grabs it and throws it over his side and we can still cuddle and him be warm and me be comfortable. my kids have one also, they absolutely love it! keeps me from throwing all 3 of them a blanket in the dryer to have a warm blanket lol. 10 outta 10 recommend %26 MOM APPROVED
This throw is a wonderful. I have arthritis an use this frequently. I like it better than the last one I purchased. The wires are not easy to feel and it washes nicely. My only complaint is it doesn't get super warm on the highest setting. But it is toasty.
Thank you for this product: the electric heating blanket. The size is fantastic and the fabric is good enough. For those reviewers who were whinging about the placement of the plug and switch, just turn the blanket sideways - problem solved. That said, the switch is a little concerning to me, hence the lack of five stars. That switch is way too easy to accidentally change settings (I did it multiple times never even realizing I'd changed the setting until it started getting too warm). Overall, good enough product, excellent value for the dollar, just needs the switch improved. Again, thank you, Walmart.
Sunbeam quality has really gone downhill. This blanket was so thin that in order for it to actually heat properly enough to feel like a heating blanket, you have to place a second blanket on top of it to hold the heat in. I'm really disappointed in this purchase.
The softness was great and so was the size. The quality of the plug in feature and switch where it is located at the base where you plug it in is inconvenient. It should be located farther down the blanket like most models are. Although it works (so far) I wouldn't purchase another model like this one
This is a beautiful soft blanket that is very comfortable to snuggle up with. Unfortunately the placement of the control is very inconvenient %26 the control can be accidentally turned on/turned up by movement, pets, etc. It can get very warm. I prefer it at just the first heat setting.
Product is advertised as an "Oversized Heated Throw" 60"×80". In reality, it's only heated 38"×58", with 11" of plain material at each end/side. This makes the heated portion smaller than a regularly sized "throw". If they really wanted to promote it as fitting a twin sized bed, they'd be wrong again, because most heated twin sized blankets are 62"×84". This is deceptive advertising. While the material is very soft, it's no way cozy with the thick wires. I've had many heating blankets. This wouldn't be comfortable at all.
got this and yes it warms up. But the material is so thin that I have to use another blanket to cover it up and keep the warmth in. Also, 4 hours auto off is terrible. Waking from my slumber after I feel the temp change isn't helping my beauty sleep. Find a different blanket.
Does not get very warm, very thin and the actual heating area is a bit smaller than a standard heated throw. Plenty of material around the sides make it bigger but certainly not oversized in heating area. It is being returned tomorrow. Sunbeam used to have a pretty fair product but absolutely would not recommend this one.
I got my blanket yesterday I will be returning it today! It never warmed up... After 20 mins of waiting, I gave up on the idea. Thought this was a good choice because it is made from Sunbeam but no. The blanket is thin and the heating elements within the blanket don't seem to exist. This vlanket was a waste of time and effort, I really hope they don't give me any issues refunding my money either.
