Generously sized. Queen has about 6" overlap on sides, 24" at foot. Dial's 12 settings are temperatures 1-low to12-high. On/off button is preset to shut off automatically after 12 hours unless shut off manually. Heat is even. Has 2 controls so that each side can be heated independently. Plug that's inserted into blanket and label (right side up) should be positioned at foot.
This heating blanket is incredibly cozy and warms up quickly without getting too hot. The heat is even, comforting, and perfect for relaxing sore muscles or staying warm on cold nights. It's soft, well-made, and easy to use. I honestly don't want to go without it now—highly recommend!
It's a great, large blanket that had a nice bit of weight to it. It gets hot and stays hot, but I can't get the plug undone to wash it so I'm about to have to throw it away. As you can tell by the photos - we've tried everything and every tool we can think of and it just won't budge. It's great other than that, in fact probably my favorite heating blanket I've ever had just wish I could use it!
I agree with some of the other reviews %26 wish I would have read them before I bought the item. There is about a 12 inch gap between the 2 sides with no wires %26 it leaves that part of the bed cold! It is also very warm even on the number 1 setting, so I can't imagine how hot the highest setting is. Definitely not worth the price!
Love the softness, also love the size. I got the queen size one which cost $85. That is very pricey for the quality. Also I have had the heating on, on both controllers and the blanket is only heating certain areas. Some of the wires are nice and warm and other ones are not working at all.
2nd controller stopped working within 2 weeks would never tell someone to buy this. I'm very disappointed in it not working controller just blinks doesn't heat on one side.
With both controls set at the same temperature, this blanket still heats unevenly. The middle is COLD, like ice cold. You can see the silver wires running throughout the blanket as well so I am very skeptical that it would hold up to the care instructions should it need to go to the washer.
This blanket is very thin and you can feel all the wires in it. It pills a lot. The heat settings are not very accurate. It goes from cold to slightly warm. I have to put it on a high setting to get enough warmth. Very uncomfortable! I will return it for a better made blanket.
I did not turn the blanket on or even use it because there were so many wires and long tangled up cords! Major design flaw! The cord material is so stiff, that the cords couldn't unfurl. Plus, the blanket was so thin. Think thin like a sheet! Very thin material. A bath towel is thicker! Returned it back to the store.
The pro of this blanket is that it's very soft. It is very thin though and I think that's part of the problem, it's doesn't keep its heat. Even on the highest setting you can barely feel any heat coming off this blanket which is weird because you can feel the heating wires very easily and sometimes they will actually get so hot they feel like they could burn you. Overall I think it will work as light throw but not a true heated blanket.
