Sunbeam Red Microplush Sherpa Heated Throw, 50” x 60”

I bought this through for my dad he's always cold because he's going through leukemia treatment right now which he'll be gone through for the rest of his life he always gets these bouts of coldness no matter what we can do he can't get warm so I bought him this throw in it's working like a dream he turns it to the setting that he wants and he stays nice and toasty and it was an awesome price

I purchased this electric blanket because it was on sale and I definitely got my moneys worth. But the plug and remote are located in a very inconvenient spot. You either have to have the cord in your space on top of you or you have to decide to have the blanket be too short for the length of your legs.

I have 2 of these. The first one I bought last year and I love it. I wanted a second one so I ordered what I thought was the exact same product but what arrived is different. The thick cream colored Sherpa side has been replaced by a thinner dark red fleece which is OK but disappointing compared to what I was expecting. The product I received doesn't exactly match the photo. This has happened to me with other products sold by Walmart. I have always kept whatever arrived because it has so far been an acceptable product but it is disappointing. A quality company has consistent inventory and Walmart doesn't measure up in this way.

The heating is very mild. There is three settings even in the setting two its very mild. The cable comes from the middle so if I put it up on the pillow side, it pokes my neck if I put it on my foot side it still pokes my foot. I wish it was placed in a corner of the blanket.

This is a soft, cozy blanket and it's attractive. I like it for those attributes, but it loses stars for the control and the power cord. First the cord connects at the bottom of the blanket, and leaves a very short length of cord for the control. This cord is simply in the wrong place, and too short. If I want to use this in a chair OR on a bed, the control cannot be reached without getting up. In a chair, the cord gets caught in the recliner. In a bed, it can be turned 90 degrees so that it is on the side of the bed but one still cannot reach the control, and the cord interferes with getting in and out of bed. Nice blanket. Poor design of cord and controller.

I love sunbeam, but we bought 2 throws, 1 never use, the 2nd one bought Nov. 17,2022, and died on Feb. 9th, 2023-like others it did make a big pop and then did not work. It does heat fantastic, and my kiddo uses so I would say it is her bc she tends to go through many items faster than an adult care wise, but others have said the same thing just gave out with electrical smell and pop. I was lucky and the warranty runs out Feb. 15, 2023-so sending back Feb. 10th, and will rec. another on Feb. 14th. I would expect a heat throw/blanket to last 1 year at least. I am glad we did not pay the org. $79, but bought on sale for $29, if you do the exchange it cost -0-,bc price has gone up to $34 now-it is hassel free to return and hopefully get a new one-have not tried the replacement thing so we shall see how that works out. I did have to find packaging not org. but a bag to resend in, and print a label, and fedx window of 9am-6pm pu at the house which was my choice they had 3 choices for returns-non were for return to store-which I love, but there were 3 choices so greatly appreciate that-I do love Walmart and appreciate quickness-just sad to return-but glad we caught in the window time frame

White Sherpa not really me; %26 camo wish it darker! 1hr high heat barely heat!!! Poor position cable. Just OK a comforter but lacking above. Sunbeam not up to the mark.

I have had my heat blanket for 1.5 months and then it exploded. melted the wires. This is a fire hazard. I done every the manual said not to cover up and everything. I have attached the outcome from it exploding on my chest. I would not recommend this blanket for the fire hazard I experienced. I was fortunate enough, it didn't cause a fire.

I was so excited to use this blanket for movie night!! Turned it on high, fixed my snacks and placed the blanket over me….it feels “lukewarm” even if was that warm (inserts rolling eyes). I played with the other 2 settings and low doesn’t even feel as if it is on. Really disappointed

the blanket that i received did not appear to be new, seems like these days when you order online you sometimes get refurbished items that are not labeled refurbished i assumed that i was buying a new item, also bought a phone that was labeled new but when i got it didn't look new and when i tried to get it connected is when i found out that it had been pre owned , i don't like buying things that are advertised as new but are actuallly refurbished please let us know if the item is new or used and let us decide if we want it or not
