Sunbeam Steam Master Iron with Retractable Cord (GCSBCL-202-000)

I'm a quilter and really wanted an iron dedicated for clothing so I could keep my quilting iron dry. We use the steam feature for clothing but never for quilting. So I bought three irons from Sunbeam. This one was to be our dedicated steam iron. It has been a wonderful iron. It doesn't leak, steams beautifully and easily handles all the wrinkles we throw at it. My previous steam iron was a high end, high cost iron and it leaked like a sieve. I bought two before giving up on the brand. I had no idea such a great iron was waiting for me in this price point! Thanks so much, Sunbeam!

I was skeptical about getting an iron with a dark ironing surface. My past experiences weren't good. This iron has changed all that! The steam is fantastic, just wish the reservoir was bigger. The iron surface is SO easy to clean! I wipe with a sponge & that's it! Irons well on all settings. Can't say enough good things about it!

It has a retractable cord. With the push of a button, it winds itself up! I formerly used $6 or $9 dollar irons but this one lets out a ton of steam and is great for creases!!

This iron is beautiful. Love the color, placement of the controls, and especially the fact that it doesn't leak! Having a retractable cord is also a nice touch.

Great deal! The bottom is non stick, the steam works great, it's light, heats up quick, water fill is easy overal great purchase!

I purchased this iron after my sister purchased one & it is the best iron ever! I do a lot of quilting which requires a lot of ironing & this iron is the BEST. I have purchased several expensive irons & none compare to this one. I would recommend it to anyone/everyone that uses an iron. I was also very pleased at how fast it was shipped & delivered. Awesome product for everyday use! Auto on/off is great, warms up super fast, only dripped when I poured (i think) too much water in the container...looks awesome

My last Black and Decker was constantly, not sometimes but everytime. Then I got a Rowenta. Beautiful, did a great job--BUT it felt like I was lifting a ton (2,000#'s-literally). I have had such severe arthritis in my dominant right hand that it required surgery 2 years ago. So far 2 irons down. Hand still not 100% and I don't iron as much since I am now retired--however, the Sunbeam I ordered (and received) was pleasantly not heavy nor cumbersome and it NEVER leaks!!! I subtracted 1 point because I have felt a bit of hesitation with the 'retractable' cord. I doubt that will last a long (?) time, but that is not important to me. Good product Sunbeam.

Have been using for a month. Steam distribution is good. The retractable cord is very useful (impressed by this feature a lot). It takes a while to heatup but cant judge on that as this is the first time I am using a 110V iron. Cool aesthetics!

The settings dial is awkwardly placed. The words are upside down. But I like the retractable cord and the iron gets the job done
