Super Soft and Heats Up Fast!

Anonymous October 7, 2024

The Sunbeam Throw Poseidon Microplush is so soft to the touch and heat up quickly, and stay warm while using. I have tried a handful of electric throws, but this one is by far my favorite as it actually works and is super soft. I like how it has 4 settings and an auto shut off. If you are in the market for an electric throw, I highly the Sunbeam Throw Poseidon Microplush. You will not be disappointed!

This is a very strangely confusing blanket the control fits in upside down so the button is facing the blanket instead of the person under the blanket.. it is a strange size in shape. A blanket shouldn't be this difficult we've had other heating blankets before that were similar and they were much better. I gave this a three because it does heat up

Basic heated throw with 4 settings, it is soft, I feel the remote is in a awkward spot in the middle of the blanket i think it would if been better at one end or the other and i felt it was small. The control button is very close to the plug in a little more cord would of been nice also.

A little disappointed

Annie November 18, 2024

It's very thin, but I was willing to overlook that because it was warm and comfortable at first. It's only been about a month since I purchased it and half of it isn't heating. The previous Sunbeam throw was of better quality. It lasted me a couple of years. I guess that's why I expected this one to do the same.

One Flaw Makes It A No Go

WalmartCustomer February 24, 2025

Very soft but thin. Although it can warm to a decent temperature, it sheds on any dark clothing. The main problem is the placement of the controller. It is right against the blanket instead of further down the cord so any movement causes the blanket to turn on or to become warmer with no warning. I have to unplug it if I want to ensure it doesn't come on while my dog is alone and lying in it.

A total waste of money and time.

Brandy January 21, 2025

It worked for a few days and now who plug it into the wall plug all it does in blink. We bought one of these just a month prior that does the exact same thing. 2 heat blankets that don't work, 50 dollars spent and we still don't have a working blanket 😡😢

The blanket itself is soft and plush but the location of the electrical cord is very inconvenient and way way to short. You either have the cord resting in the middle of your chest or down by your frying which case to change the heat setting is difficult. I will be returning this immediately.

I ordered the full blanket but I received a throw that doesn't work. The lights don't light up and it doesn't heat up at all. I'm very unhappy about this order because I spent a lot of time picking out the best electric blanket for me.

small heated area,icky color

sherry December 17, 2024

My home is decorated in gray tones. This is the strangest gray I have ever seen. Sort of green cast to it. Ok, just a throw. Well, I opened it and the heating wires are only in a small portion of the center of the throw. I am throwing it back to walmart.

Cheap junk...

KT February 15, 2025

This is one of the most disappointing things I have purchased in a while. I always thought sunbeam was a quality company. I have an electric blanket from them that is 15 yrs old and it is amazing. This is another example of companies now producing very cheap chintzy products. The material is extremely thin. The wiring is very hard and you can feel it in a bad uncomfortable way. To finish off the paper thin material and hard wiring, there is a 6 in border on all sides that does not warm. Oh and the wiring isn't all that warm in many spots. The one positive is it is a nice neutral beige color. I am disgusted that companies think this is ok.
