Suncast 175FT Hosemobile® Hose Reel Cart

I was searching on the other big online retailer for a rolling garden hose reel and was getting really discouraged as so many were overpriced … like $60 and up. I thought this is ridiculous. So I decided to check Walmart and thankfully, I landed on this affordable well-made hose reel made by Suncast. And it was in stock at the store. I didn’t have to wait for it to come in the mail. In fact, I love that I can simply add it to my curbside order. I feel like it’s priced fairly at $39. It’s made of strong plastic but I live in a really hot climate so to ensure it has longevity, I plan to keep it in my garage and out of the sun when not in use. It’s so smartly crafted with a movable hose feed that makes it so easy to coil the hose up and also there is a notch to set the reel’s hose securely for storage (see pics). And my favorite thing about it is rolling it around the yard with ease. This is exactly what I was looking for with additional features I wasn’t expecting but really appreciate and adds to its value. 5/5 stars! Highly recommend.

been wanting in of these reel type for a while, glad I got it , sure beats coiling it up by hand. it is a little light, you may have to put your foot on the base of it to keep it from tipping while rolling it in . does fine rolling it out.

Assembled but haven't used yet since it's still winter. Seems like a well made item. I've owned similar ones, and this is sturdy. My one complaint: it has no top shelf for storing spare nozzles, gloves, tools. I really miss that feature, which my previous models had. Wouldn't cost but a couple bucks for it to be added back

I ended up really liking this. My first time owning a hose reel, so much easier to put the hose away after using it. I really like the part where it helps guide the hose while youre reeling it up, it keeps it neat and my hands clean. My advice is to run water through the hose and lay it out straight before reeling it up the first time - i found reeling up a completely empty hose led to it kinking right near the initial connection point. Also might wanna invest in a couple bags of rocks or sand to weigh it down if you dont plan on moving the system around

Pretty disappointed by this hose reel. Seems very lightweight yet clunky. Does not stay in place when unwinding a hose, you have to hold it down which is really inconvenient. The hose guide for rewinding the hose is totally useless, doesn't work at all as you still must guide the hose by hand for even distribution. The only positive point is that it doesn't leak at the connections, at least not yet. I'll probably just keep it because my old one was a piece of junk also, the same brand but different type, btw. Shame on me.

This hose cart leaks so badly, it should be marketed as a sprinkler instead. Regardless of how carefully you thread a hose, no matter what hose type you use, add/remove gaskets, or if you add thread tape (reduced leaking slightly, but still leaks a huge amount of water), it will leak nearly as much water as comes out the other end of the hose. Unless you enjoy turning the spot it sits on into a mud patch, and paying for most of your water being wasted, I would avoid this product at all costs.

I replaced an older Suncast reel that had a loud squeak inside the drum that I could not find or stop. The price on a new one was reasonable and I liked the black. There's a hands-free feature for keeping the hose lined up as you reel it in that's really nice. Strangely enough, I decided to put an older water hose on the old reel to sell it and that squeak seemed to almost disappear! Go figure.

Was really disappointed in this hose cart. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but the cheap hose that connects to the reel and the faucet leaks on both ends. I had purchased two reel carts and they both leak. Both reels also tip over each time you try to unravel the hose. Not only that, but trying to reel the hoses back in isn't any easier. In the end I found it was easier to carry the hose around than try to and fight both hose reels any longer. Now I've got two hose reels that need be tossed in the trash.

Unit PRICE was inviting but the Unit itself did NOT live up to it's purpose for me.. Unit LEAKES @ the Hose to Reel Inner connection. UNRAVLED A 100' Hose for a SECOND time to apply "Plumbers Tape" to the connection and ensured that the NEW Gasket from Hose to Reel intake was good %26 Secure.. STILL LEAKES almost Pouring water.. Hose was NOT loose or cross-threaded.. RETURNED for refund.

starting off with low review because there are no instructions and my hose doesn't fit (it's not simple connect and roll). the small adapter hose has two of the same ends, which isn't helpful, and it doesn't simply roll without it. obviously will be looking online, but come on, are we in such a situation that we can't even include a piece if paper with instructions.
