Suncast Bronze 225 ft Hideaway Hose Reels, Smart

It took 3 times before we got one that was acceptable. The first had broken parts inside and manufacturing defects on the outside. The second had the same manufacturing defects on the outside but in different places. There were discolorations, streaks in the sides %26 top. The third arrived in good shape...only one slight discoloration that we could live with. But love the product. We had purchased two in the past %26 really like the design.

I love this reel, and the drawer for keeping extra nozzles, etc. stored where I need them. I love how this reels in and pays out hose when needed, with ease. So far it has stood up well to the weather and is built solid. It wasn't cheap, but I learned a long time ago that we get what we pay for. I hope this lasts for years to come, because I sure like it.

I had three of them prior. I had one of them break a Handle and I decided to replace the unit. I had a 100 yard hose on it which did real good. I put it to the new unit and I have no problems. My units were only 23 years old before these had one of them break.

I have another identical hose reel that is about 15 years old. This is the only hose reel folks should buy. This design is super. The construction is very sturdy, too. I have tried all of the other types and they have major problems (flimsy construction, water leaks, hose gets off the track, etc.)

This is the second one we've purchased. The first one is still in service. We bought this one to replace a smaller one on the front of our house. Easy to set up.

Walmart pricing is best for this product. I had to replace the same item after several years of use. The product is very durable and keeps the hose even to pull out 100' with no issues. The added storage bin is a plus.

I like the look, the size, the storage bin and performance of the rewind. This one replaced the same model from 14 years ago and is typically unchanged. The one difference is that this one no longer includes a large plastic base to pivot on. No big loss, especially when used on a deck. Recommended. The downside- nothing with the product itself. The experience of getting the correct, undamaged product was not good. Ordered online and went thru 4 orders being sent to me before it was acceptable. Customer support made good by providing numerous “inconvenience” promo code discounts (which was good) but the experience must have been longer than a month. Lemon experience but I knew the product was worth the inconvenience. Good luck if you go for it. (Always buy, don't swap because you'll have to wait until they receive before anything is possibly sent back; a royal pita!)

This is my second Suncast Hose Hideaway with storage bin. We love the hose reel, but they both leak at the hose connection, We have tried everything to stop the leakage. Since this second Suncast Hose reel also leaks, we have concluded it's a poor design.

I would give it zero if I could. I have always loved Suncast products and have many different storage ones around my pool. When my old Hose Reel wheels finally died I ordered this one since it came with a hose. The first one I got the sprayer end of the hose blew out so I did a return and ordered another one. I just got the new one and there is no hose at all. I cannot get any one to send me a replacement hose. I am so disappointed

I originaly order 2 of these. I only received 1 because the box said there were 2 in it. The one I got was as expected. I ordered another. When I got it home the bottom was completely broken off and it did not look like new condition. I returned it and didn't order another. There is either a problem with the Suncast warehouse or Walmarts'. I don't know which. Very disappointed in the last transaction. Suggest when you receive merchandise Site-To-Store, make sure you check the contents closely, then you can refuse item right there rather than getting it home and getting a surprise.
