Very poorly made because the gears do not turn.
The first try and it didn't work at all, it is not designed for salt spreading, so don't buy it you just waste your money.

Don't Waste Your Time...Or Your Money!!
Cheap, cheap, cheap!! Entirely plastic construction; gears may hold up but the driveshaft snapped off during first use (spreading fertilizer). Going to return and have them put in dumpster. If I see any more on shelf, I will see if they can put those in dumpster also. Why should anyone else heave to go through all this!!
