Very bright led lights grow those plants quickly. I actually got letpot 95 dollar one and it's still only has one plant coming up. However the Suncoze hydroponic system all 12 are up and growing super fast. The lights seem much brighter than letpot. The design is basic vs letpot that seems more quality build
I am absolutely OBSESSED with this hydroponic garden!!! I have grown 50 ears of corn, 15 sunflowers, green beans, basil, carrots and cucumber for my outdoor garden in this thing …all of which are INCREDIBLY fruitful!! About to start my pumpkins and gourds. It is SUPER easy to use, directions are very clear and it comes with a booklet of recommendations if you're a newby like me! 11/10 recommend!!
I'm excited about this planter! Germination of my herbs took less than a week and the plants are growing. I can't wait to have my first harvest. I only wish a recommendation was made about how many seeds to put in the foam. I guess I'll find out when the plants get bigger.
great for our purpose. used it as a starter kit to determine if we wanted to create a hydroponics vegetable garden. Now that we know we can, we'll continue to use this to germinate the seeds then transplant to larger DIY hydroponics system. ** follow the directions, get good result.
Love this thing, took only a week for the sprouts to start and I've got 12 seedlings now, its super exciting since the cost of food will double by September at the rate of inflation right now! if you can afford this, get it, and get started, then go get some pots from a thrift store and move your seedlings to those, then keep them in the same area. Get a shelving unit if you can or use stairs to use the lights for more plants in pots while you start more seedlings and keep it going. now's the time to prepare for higher prices at the grocery!
So far no issues, I love it! I bought a different brand one the same day I received this, off Amazon that has a misting setting for a similar price. It hasn't came in yet I have a feeling I'll like that one better it has 15 slots. But this is a great beginner hydroponics garden. I already have multiple things sprouting! Had to take the caps off some thing %26 it's only been 4 days. I did rip a sponge open a little to set a strawberry runner in it's not big enough for already established plants. But I managed to fit it perfect to where the root sit perfectly without falling out. I have 40 Stawberry plants outside in my garden beds. But really wanna explore more with growing them this way!
This is a very nice item. You can grow your own herbs for now and plants for your garden later. Does not require a lot of attention or work put the water in it a small amount of the fertilizer plant your seeds and watch them grow. I love mine.
Pros: it's very easy to setup, it has a nice big deck, all pods are nicely spaced, the seeds have germinated and are growing very well. Cons: it doesn't have a reminder to add water or plant food, it has to be unplugged, and plugged in again to make sure the pump is working, it only has 3 choices for how long the lights stay on. I think it's a good purchase to start with hydroponic growing, but I'm going to stick with the original Aero Garden.
No controls for pump or brightness. No timer. Plants germinate much slower. Also it does not let you choose for seedlings, vegetables, or blooms. It works but, I enjoyed my other one more.
The first one of two that I ordered: did not operate the 2nd one until I knew the first one would work. It did not %26 I did not receive a refund.
