Had the 1000lb telescoping trans jack for over two years and it has been a great addition to my shop. The hands free hydraulic system makes it easy for one man to install and remove a transmission. The 4 angle adjustment on the table top all works with ease when finding the correct tilt to install and remove a transmission in any vehicle. Not sure how I got by without this tool in the past but I highly recommend it, makes the job easier in and turns a two man job into a one man job now.
We've used this in the shop to remove and reinstall 4L60, 4L80, 700R, NV4500 transmissions and more. You have full control of the tilt of the saddle, and you can easily adjust the 4 angled brackets to snugly fit the sides of the transmission pan. The foot pedal makes it very nice to jack up, and the 2nd (red) foot pedal makes quick work of the descent (coming down) as well. It is somewhat of a nuisance to get it to roll in the right direction initially, but that's just the typical heavy shop equipment issues (not anything we're going to count against it). We may have even used it a few times to hold oil drain pans for changing oil, trans fluid, and diff fluid when on the lift.
Definitely there was a before and an after .. the transmission jack ..before we didn't have it everything was very hard work and took more time to get done . Now since we got it. Is so useful even for other tasks. So efficient! So happy and convinient. To have it
Excellent Transmission Jack for Professional Workflow It has been a great addition to our shop. It's sturdy, easy to use, and makes transmission work go a lot smoother. The lift is stable, the hydraulic action is smooth, and the height range is perfect for getting components lined up without a struggle. One thing we really appreciate is how versatile it is. Besides transmissions, we often use it for fuel tanks and beam axles, and it's noticeably more stable than using screw-style jack stands. That extra stability makes a big difference when you're working with heavier parts. The foot-operated pump is responsive and gives you good control while keeping your hands free, and the adjustable saddle makes alignment pretty straightforward. Build quality feels solid, and after plenty of regular use, it's still performing just like the day it arrived—no leaks, no drift, no issues. Well-built jack that has made our workflow safer and more efficient. Definitely glad to have it in the shop.
Very very good quality . help to much to down ,fuel tank, transmission and also can use to down subframe I love that. Save lot time and makes more easy the job .
In May 2024, I purchased a jack. The initial unit served me well for six months before experiencing internal binding and requiring excessive pressure to release. Upon contacting the manufacturer, I received a replacement assembly. However, the new unit has since developed hydraulic issues, with leaks causing the unit to continue collapsing after pedal release. While this unit may suffice for light use, I believe in a professional setting, a higher-quality option would be preferable.
