It includes a magnetic attachment and a clip, so whether you're mounting it to a metal gazebo post, clipping it to a beam, or setting it up in a cabin, it's easy to mount and easy to move where you need it. The kids love helping clip it up in the gazebo or on the porch, and we recently packed it for a cabin trip. It made the whole place feel cozy and was perfect for winding down for bed. The remote makes it so easy to use (the kids think it's so fun!), and it's bright enough to light up exactly where we need it. Super simple to mount, super portable, and now a must-have for all our family nights outside and adventures away from home. If you need a flexible, battery-powered spot light that works both for outdoor structures (gazebos, porches) and for mobile use (cabins, camping), this is a great, practical option!

Firstly, the item does not come with batteries or a charger, the listing mentions neither. Secondly, the backing screws are too short causing the back to pop off when removing the light from a magnetized position. Thirdly, It isn't particularly bright and seems a lot less bright with the dark spot at the center taking up 15-20% of total light coverage. Finally, While the magnet is strong it only serves to make the second problem all the worse. Images: Tried to show how short the backing screws are.
