Love! It really does add some much character and coziness to my patio. I had a fire table before that just didn't put out much heat so I wanted something more Substantial. This does a pretty good job, as long as you keep the fire going and keep 3-4 logs in there. Also great for keeping bugs away!

This fireplace is beautiful and gives off some nice heat. It is easy to assemble and gives our patio an upgraded look. Highly Recommend!

This is beautiful! I had a stone outdoor fireplace (which was rarely used) that need to be replaced. I had gotten astronomical quotes to replace it. I decided to tear it down and buy this. I like that I can move it around and I do not need to keep in one area. I love the colors and it was fairly easy to assemble. I like that it also came with a cover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been looking for an outdoor fireplace and this Sunjoy Heirloom Slate Wood Burning Fireplace filled that need. It arrived in a pretty big box. Unpacking was easy, it is packed with a lot of styrofoam and protective plastic. Clear concise instructions, all hardware needed to put it together, and a little tool are all included. We did use our own tools to put it together. The total time to put together was around 45 minutes. The chimney just sits on the top without being bolted down. The heaviest part is the bottom. While it seemed a bit flimsy at first, when you get it all together and all the bolts tightened, it really is very sturdy. The measurements are true. The back is solid and keeps the hear near the front. It is a joy to open the front door, load the wood, light the fire, and close the doors. If you have kids, the doors have a latch. It is so cozy to sit around and watch the smoke go out the top.

When we entertain, I'm glad for cooler evenings, so that we can light our fireplace. It is a beautiful addition to our outdoor living and entertainment space. Even not ablaze, it is a showstopper! It extends our outdoor season by a month, because of it's presence - it actually makes us look forward to going outside and sitting around the fireplace!

We usually get clay chimineas but they crack and need replaced after 2-3 years. Hopefully this will last longer. It was delivered fine-all parts were there and no damaged. Fed ex backed into my driveway and left it towards the back which was wonderful. It was easy to put together. I like that it comes with a custom fit cover. I've had 2 fires with it so far and am happy with the size and heat output. The smoke doesn't seem to go up the chimney as well as you'd think. I'd give it a 5 star but the fire tray sits too low to the ground. We ended up spending another $30+ to buy a couple of concrete pads to lift the whole thing up some. Still may need to put something else under it. The ground under it is getting too hot.
