Sunline Retractable Clothes Line 40ft. L Vinyl

This a classic old design that works well and is as simple as it could possibly be. Things like this are getting harder and harder to find. My 40 year old one broke a piece of the plastic that made it unusable because the cord wouldn't hold. So I went to get a replacement and found none locally. Bought an inferior alternative one that just didn't work due to poor design. So ordered this one and now it's right!

I have had one of these for 14 years - but the base broke. I found the same one - only better at Walmart - now the part that broke after 14 years is made of metal, not plastic. I didn't even have to move any of the screws I had in the wall to install the new one. I am expecting it to be the last one I ever need to buy. and we use a great deal for sports uniforms and other things that don't dry in the dryer!

I purchased this clothesline because I didn't have anywhere to put a regular clothesline. This gives me the opportunity to hang clothes outside, (I love the smell of clothes dried outside) and save on my electric bill. The line is sturdy and 40 feet long and holds a whole load of washing. I also like that I am able to hide the line when it is not in use. The delivery of the item was quick. I ordered it on Monday (I think) and picked it up at site to store on Thursday, although it wasn't due to be in until the following week. Thank you Wal-Mart for carrying this product.

It's. Easy to use and easy to put away out of sight. great for the things you do not want to put in the dryer

This is the second retractable clothes line I've purchased from Walmart, only because we've lost our first one during our last PSC move. Our first retractable line has lasted through four moves (domestic and international). It does the job at a very low cost. I would definitely recommend it.

This old fashioned product is perfect for small space and no extensive construction. It arrived early and in perfect condition.

this does what it's supposed to do with no problems. i just wish the bracket was made of metal, not plastic. to make it stronger, i used washers over the installation screws to spread out the stress on the plastic bracket. we'll see how this works!

This was a replacement for the old broken one. I wanted the same brand because it worked great.

This should not have been advertised as “retractable”. The spring is so weak the line just hangs when released instead of retracting. Also very bad tension control so despite the cleat to wrap the line it still sags and doesn't lock. Poor quality.
