Assembly instructions were good, but not great. Patience and trying things out first before tightening will help. Do follow the cautions about the pedals (the major complaints of other purchasers). The manufacturer puts warning stickers on each pedal and the frame, so follow their instructions carefully. The rider can make several possible adjustments: seat height, seat/leg length, resistance tension, handlebar height; it thus took some trial and error to get it right. Once we settled on the right settings for each person, we're quite happy with it. The workout is great. I thought we had a problem with the exercise computer, but it was only that the wire connection came loose, Now, it works well. I would recommend this bike for others.
Well very happy assembly is required but not big deal so I'm enjoying my workout.
So far so good after first few rides. Seems sturdy and the ride is smooth. Good adjustability, comfortable riding position, nice pedals, and seat seems adequate.
After doing some research, I realized I wanted a belt drive (quieter, less maintenance than chain) and a heavy fly wheel (smoother ride, especially while standing). I also wanted the seat adjustable and preferred something to track cycling time. This bike had all that and was reasonably priced with great reviews. The box was too heavy for me so I had to inbox and carry parts downstairs separately but it was easy to assemble and now that I've had it a few weeks I can definitely say I am happy with my purchase. The seat is wider than I expected but no less comfortable than any other I've used. This is a solid bike and I expect it will hold up very well!
This bike was easy to put together. It is heavy but was able to do it on my own. I've used this bike several times already. Love it. I'm only 5ft so was nervice it would be to big but I have no problems what so ever. Does have a tiny squeek but not very noticeable. Seat is much more comfortable then ones at the gym! Quite happy with my purchase.
Pretty pleased with this bike. It's extremely sturdy. I weigh 180. Doesn't creak or make any noises yet. I've used it three times so far. Seat is pretty good. It could be a tiny bit more comfortable, but I can deal with it. It was actually pretty simple to put together. Only took about an hour. It's packaged pretty well in obviously a very heavy box. I would totally recommend this at this point. I wonder how it'll be after extended use though. I imagine it'll be worth the money.
It's an average purchase. Cheap. The bike works okay. It runs smooth & is quiet. Gives a great workout. The issues I've had are that the seat has moved out of place & needed readjusting & when I turn up the resistance to a high/very high level the right pedal sort of goes awry. I cannot explain it but it's as if it jams up. It needs readjusting if I do this.
I read SO many reviews of exercise bikes and finally settled on this bike - I ignored the bad reviews because there are always people who aren't satisfied for silly reasons... but I am one of those people now! But for good reason! The bike arrived on my doorstep in a torn up box. I set it all up and Rose it that night and had a blast! The next day I got up to ride it and while standing and riding, the left pedal snapped completely off!!! I had tightened the pedals very good and carefully, because some of the other reviews mentioned pedals coming loose - snapping completely off is another story! I plan on returning ASAP, but unfortunately because of the weight, it has to be returned in-store.
I was enjoying it for my my daily exercise and then during my ride the pedals were no longer connected the wheel and I couldn't get the bike to work anyone. I would always feel like the bands would come out of place or the bike would be quiet sometimes and than louder at other times. I should have invest a little more in another bike, had it just about 2 months.
the box was damaged. refused delivery
